They're called Crimson and Chrome according to a KC Star article I saw. I like the Tommy James and the Shondells shout out, but they really should have blurred the faces of players in the reveal video so that it can't be confirmed they play for Kansas.

I'm assuming adidas ponied up for this because of the amount of KU's football budget that has to go towards feeding Charlie Weis.
