TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Tempe police are investigating a shooting and a fist fight involving an Arizona State University football player outside an American Legion hall.

Police spokeswoman Naomi Galbraith says authorities received a 911 call just before 2 a.m. Saturday that multiple shots were fired in the area of an American Legion building.

Galbraith says upon arrival, officers found 300 people and more than 200 vehicles leaving the scene.

Investigators found evidence of a shooting as well as blood. Witnesses say the blood came from one person injured in a fist fight.

Among those interviewed was ASU football player Deonte Reynolds.

Galbraith says Reynolds was treated for minor injuries from an altercation with an unknown person.

Police say no other injuries have been reported and no arrests made.

But they are still investigating.

This was not from the situation you have quoted. Reynolds and Otomewo were arrested for stealing credit cards, and it sounds like IMR was caught using one of them. He is a RS Freshman this year and was slated to be the starting Devilbacker next year. Dismissed from team in pretty quick order. I guess this shows Graham won't only dismiss the roster lint. This guy is an important piece. The other two were charged with felonies, and IMR was charged with a misdemeanor. Interested to find out why.

I was wondering that too. It's hard to argue that you didn't know you were using someone else's credit card. They might've charged him theft according to the value of the charges applied to the credit card, which won't be a felony until over $500.

Can't be right? The Devils compete for championships and no doubt CTG will have his best team next year after recruiting his best class ever. 10 wins is the standard I thought?

I was wondering if h4d be on the hot seat next year. Overall he's been more successful, beaten arizona and their drop off hasn't been as bad (they did go 6-7 last year and will probably need to beat us again to go to a bowl). My guess is if he has another losing season or loses to Arizona next year he's gone.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.

So you can't blame some of your shitty play on crowd noise?

Relentlessly stupid ASU. Lose to the only winless team in conference, just shift the trash talk to the U of A's fans and city.

Saw fans doing that on FB this morning....that, and trashing the Butler loss, of all things!

Keep on being you, Graham. We'll gladly beat your classless ass again next year.

It's hard to get super loud when you're up a few td's all game.

Realistically, no one was expecting Arizona to whip ASU. So some people didn't come. Add in that the game wasn't close and it's pretty self explanatory.

Also, when SDS is your home stadium, I wouldn't throw stones.

Yup. I think Graham forgot that they've taken out 16,000 seats from their stadium in the last 2 years and this year they still averaged about 8500 empty seats a game (paid attendance, not actual). If they still had the same size stadium this year then they would've been averaging about 24,000 under capacity...

He also forgot that he got his sorry ass beat by a team that was pretty goddamn terrible this year and that he should shut the fuck up before his mouth gets him in trouble again (any National Championship talk this year Toddy?).

I have heard his buy out is anywhere from 14M to 1.5M. I know the guys in my office are not happy with him this year and especially after Friday, It has been a great day at work

DD said $12M I believe.

Watching the game, I was thinking ASU is really bad. That's what I normally think during UA games. UA is really bad.

In any event, the Arizona schools really stunk up the PAC-12 South, and the Oregon school the North.

Yeah we were really bad. But asu the last 2/3 of the season was honestly just as bad. They finished 1-7 and lost 6 of those games by 19+ points.

Looking at the product on the field for the last 2 months, this may have been the worst Arizona team in the last 50 years, and they completely steamrolled ASU. I did not think that was possible. That may have been the best, most unexpected a$$-kicking Graham has ever received!

I think that mentality is the minority. I live in Phx area and work with and know many Scummy fans. Though several that I know are ready to be done with Graham, I don't know one who 'wanted' to lose to their hated rival. The asu fans I know are completely humiliated and embarrassed by that game, and would never in a million years desire that outcome against the U of A.....no matter their coaching situation.

I know that my hatred runs so deep, and is so ingrained in me being a native of this state.....that there is no circumstance imaginable where I would ever want asu to beat us. No matter the affect on our coaching situation.

So funny that two years ago all of the asu fans up here thought Todd walked on water. The azcentral and ktar dorks all fawned over him like he was the second coming. They all look like a bunch of idiots for buying into the used car salesman act.

ASU's next 5 games are Oregon, @Stanford, Washington, @Utah and USC. If they are like 2-6 or 3-5 after that then I can see him being fired then

5 out of those 6 teams are 3-0, and Stanford has the only losses as of today. Can't imagine ASU winning 2 of those, just as I don't think UA could beat 2 also.
