Off to a hot start, especially Turner and Seager. I will take 11-2.

1st in batting average, runs, on base %, and slugging %. Starters have been awesome.

Now the first showdown with the Padres this weekend. Should be entertaining.

Great game last night although staying up until 3:00am to watch the finish has got me dragging today.

See-saw game with the Padres jumping out to a lead. Then the Dodgers came back and looked to be in control. Padres rallied in the late innings to tie it then in the 12th the Dodgers hung a 5 spot thanks to Seager's blast.
Playoff atmosphere. Both teams emptied their bench including position players pitching, and pitchers playing the outfield. Even had a little melee with both teams leaving the dugout.
The Dodger's depth was the difference. No names like McKinstry and Raley had good games.

Round 1 to the Dodgers but the next 18 games between the 2 best teams in the NL will be fun to watch.

No mention of this? Rare you clear the benches and bullpens in extras.

I forgot to add. I edited my post a few minutes after.
Sorry, as I said I’m exhausted staying up until the middle of the night to watch the finish.

Or I can go with...

ECC had a comprehensive recap of last nights Dodger-Padre game, and then the UA President got involved.

That was a bullshit swing. The ball was already in the catchers mitt.

Then Darvish walks Kershaw with the bases loaded. Lol.

Blew a 7-1 lead late last night. May had a great outing and for a makeshift lineup due to injuries the offense was fine. Relief pitching was atrocious.

That one hurt.

Tatis Jr. and his team can celebrate now and do their antics. To the victors go the spoils.
Long season to go.

Tough game to lose, but going to Clevinger and not, say, Kenley, means the Dodgers are more worried about managing the season for the long term.

Another one of my FB team pitchers. I am cursed.

From a Dodgers standpoint, if anyone has pitching depth (insert David Price) to mitigate the blow it's them.

He’s going to have to shorten up his delivery like Taillon has. Pitchers that trail their arm way out behind them put too much torque on the UCL.

Actually with all of the injuries having another part time RH bat/1B will allow more options. Roberts likes to do a lot of platooning throughout the year as we know.

Seager out with a broken hand.

Too much Yankee-injury-itis this year.

We went to the game last night! First time at a live event in 15 months. We sat in the Vaccinated section for $38 a ticket. It was great! There really isn't anything like Dodger stadium. It is so jaw droppingly beautiful at sunset every time I go. The weather was nice and cool all evening.

Awesome experience! I made it to opening day, want to take my 5 year old to a game next.

Looking like one of the teams in the west is being put back into their place after the Dodgers struggles. Urias having himself a nice day at the plate.

Nice little winning streak and last night's game was extra special beating the Houston Asterick's with about 1/2 the crowd being Dodger fans and laying into them.

Gee, surprising how well Kershaw pitched when the other team didn't know what was coming...

They are sucking big time at the moment but won't go all Chi just yet, i.e. fire someone now!

After getting no-hit, the Dodgers take 3 straight from the Cubs.

Kershaw was dealing yesterday: 8 innings, 1 run, 13 strikeouts.

Who would have thought a two game set in June against the Giants would be so important?

The Giants are certainly a surprise, especially their pitching. But they are good and not going anywhere.

And it's good for the Dodgers to get pushed. I think if they would have cruised to a division title they would have been ripe for the picking come playoff time.

But shit, with the Giants and Padres it's by far the toughest division in baseball.

Dodgers are in a no win situation there. I can see why they want MLB to step in and take the decision out of their hands.

This is not a difficult decision to make….

It’s only difficult if you value winning over EVERYTHING else

Fail. If you would have said Ray Rice I would have giving you rep.

Ray Lewis was just involved in a murder case. Sheesh...

It’s also difficult when there is a powerful union involved.

The Dodgers have won 9 in a row since being no-hit by the Cubs.

At the same time the Cubs have lost 9 in a row.

Going to Citi Field tonight with my son to catch the Dodgers take on the Mets as part of his Birthday present (with selfish reasons too😬).

After watching the Field of Dreams event this will be a special time for us. He’s now 23 but I still remember playing catch with him as a kid and teaching him how to field grounders and pop-ups.

Now back at you. One ARod's greatest baseball moments was having Lasorda throw batting practice to him at Vero Beach as a 16 year old kid before the draft.
