I don’t post here, but I lurk in the background and watch all of our our games, despite the pain that inflicts after five decades of supporting the Cats. I flew to Tucson last week and watched our loss from up close and personal, and have been as disappointed as anyone with the way things have gone this year.
But, these kids played their asses off tonight against USC when they easily could have folded like the Mackovic squads did. Maybe we’ll lose the rest of the year. Maybe not. Cal has no business beating us. But, either way, we need to give these players credit for the heart they are showing. Just saying.
Now I’ll fade back to the background and hope for the best.

Credit to Cats playing hard to the end but minus their stud receiver, USC is not that good.
Had lost 3 straight at home I believe, with each opponent over 40.
Was impressed with Cal in previous win, and they just beat a good Beaver team, who had spanked Trojans in LA. Think Cal has lots of business beating the Cats, with Streak to 21.

I just got home from the game. Sat right behind our bench and saw no quit in this team even when we were down big. Don Brown has a ton of fire, he’s a player’s coach. This defense will be very good in the next couple of years. I was trying to get Mo back on the field, I kept yelling we need you Mo! The poor guy was limping pretty bad. Joiner went under the pop up tent, didn’t look great and I hope he’s okay? Quite a few Arizona fans, think most of us were pleased we kept this thing close…good things ahead.
