Love the playcalling. Pound the ball. Rest the defense. Take the air out of the game. Go into the half with a score and a rested D.

I was thinking that too. I feel like he's very similar to JJ, so IDK why he isn't in...

I just pray to God we get a decent snap for any end-of-half kicks.

I'm not sure why we didn't attempt a single pass on that drive

Maybe he's hurt and left off the injury report like Tate was.

Because RR is a clock-managing weasel?

Yet another multi-touchdown halftime lead at Cal that Arizona football has no right to feel comfortable with.

We spread it out, which looks good. Then do designed QB run? The fuck?

Try for a first and/or an easier FG! Why did we call that?

If you are going to run out the clock for the first half, Why wouldn't you center the ball for the FG, let alone losing a few yards? The end of the half was a head scratcher.

For as good as our other two units looked this half, our special teams are still lost. Every long snap and placekick remains an adventure out of this unit, and that means no confidence anywhere in them or from them--yet.

Pollack doesn't look very good, and Glatting is wildly inconsistent.

It's not the snapping that has me worried with Wood in there.

Stepped on, or some kind of ankle injury on the Tate TD run.

I hope Tate's not hurt again. Only 4 passes in the first half.

There is such a thing as going to the well too often.

Let's not even go there.

He has been protected. They've been using the RB's and WR sweeps all game long.

The execution so far this season from the whole unit reminds me of some small Arizona high school.

Granted, that drive didn't set up Pollack very well--another five yards from Tate and the kick would've counted--but at some point, scholarships translate to expectations of performance.

We'll need Pollack to win a game for us this season. I hope he can execute when that time comes.

Yeahs and that was with timeouts called. It was like they wanted to protect Tate bu running him...

I wouldn't go there, but Michael Lev of the Star reported Tate banged up at half.

IDK why, on 3rd down, it's like the defense just decides to stop trying.

Good rush from 4. Yet coverage breaks down in 3 seconds...

I’m not sure I have ever seen a team that is so consistently terrible on 3rd and long. It almost as 3rd and anything longer than 5 yards is gureenteed first down.

"The block that Taylor threw caromed off the shoulder of the Cal player and hit him in the helmet. That is why it was targeting."

Uh, no. That is some ass-covering supreme.

Nick Wilson in street clothes in the locker room. Minus some weapons to win this.

Great throw by Tate and catch by Brown. Glad the star was wrong and Tate's ok. Hit them with a few throws and watch the running game open up even more.

So what yardage IS good for our defense to get a third-down stop? Third and inches and third and long don't seem to work for us.

If this secondary was any good, how the hell do we keep giving up long drives that end in touchdowns?

Not just that, we're getting shredded on 3rd down, basically exclusively!
