USC is not a very good team. Were just a horribad team in general. Unsure if its the coaches or just the players. Need to possibly look at revamping the whole program.

What's the point? Go for the touchdown just a bad play call and Tate stumbled while rolling out of the pocket
What the point? uh put some point on the board and fight another day. And right now were about to get blasted.
Exactly and a fucking field goal is going to make that any better???
It 27-7 right now. if we would of, 27-10. We just need to put point on the board.

We knew the defense was going to have problems. Not too much surprise there.

The collapse of the offense in year five is the head scratcher and potentially very troubling. Sure injuries have played an important part, but we were able to score points and win 8 games with BJ Denker as our QB, so how can things suddenly be SO much worse than those times?

Again injuries explain some of it, but not all of it. (Imo)

usually they tire out in the 2nd, but they've tired out in the 1st half today.

the D is years away from being good.

lack of recruiting will do that to you.

We the best running back in the country that year was running 150 yards a game. We are on our 3rd QB and like our 4 and 5 th running back and injured lineman

Recruting with coaching sprinkled in. 8-5, 8-5, 10-3 with stoops recruits. 7-6, 2-5(and counting) with his own.
I remember year 1, 2 and 3 our final win totals were predicted to be 4, 6, and 8.

Keep in mind this was a SC team that wasn't in the same league with Alabama earlier this season.

Arizona is that far behind the rest of Division I college football. If I was a parent, I'd leave at half. This team doesn't even have the anything to stay close and look good for the families.

well then you'd be a pretty shitty parent.

speaking as a parent, you stay there till the end for your kids, no matter how bad whatever it is you're attending is.

Those are the trend lines that are difficult to explain and should give one pause

By year: Significantly overachieve, overachieve, overachieve, underachieve, significantly underachieve

That is...one hell of a thing.

And if my kid is in the stands texting where the party at out of sheer boredom at this team's shytyness?

I'd be a better parent to spend the waste of a second half talking with my kid, frankly. I would never measure my child's college choice by this awful football program. Thank God.

True, but he has to balance that with the AD taking its first loss ever because of the buyout he'd have to pay if this team goes in the tank.

I fully expect Byrne to give RR one more year, no matter what.

But this program is back to where it was after the two straight Alamo Bowl losses under Stoops. Two generations away, at least, from being contenders again.

I don't think I ever left a game at half during my time as a student.

Today I might have made an exception.

When the team quits, maybe it's time the fans do to.
