Football happens. Sure we may have gotten lucky but I think us winning in Oregon was no fluke. Maybe that's just me but we played complete football there. I don't think anyone thought we won the South handedly, remember we were also a field goal away from being 11-1.dmjcat wrote:Tui, I think the 10-2 record last year is exactly the problem. The reality is that it took a miracle to win the Cal game, Coaching stupidity to win the UW game, and the help of the Gods (we played UO with essentially their 2nd team OL) against the ducks. If we could re-run last year 1000 times we would end up 7-5 about 99% of the time. I think a lot of UA fans, and folks on this board, mistook a LOT of LUCK last year for being good or thinking we turned the corner..........We didn'tTuiTouchdown wrote:RR by miles. 10-2 last year guys. Dykes or RR? maybe we overlooked him.
Games at Palo Alto are awful.3goggles wrote:It's sad that you can hear the U Of A chant.

And what should have been Stoops best player still left over is playing at Stanford right now because Stoops is a dipshit.Gladiator Cat wrote:I'll tell you what is stunning to me is outside of a complete fluke in Scooby being overlooked by everyone in the world the best two Defensive players we have on the team are Mike Stoops players.
Simply Unbelievable to think about.
It was painful to even write that.

Furd fans are trash.
Correct.Newportcat wrote:Assuming you meant sani and Reggie Gilbert? Or sir Thomas?Gladiator Cat wrote:I'll tell you what is stunning to me is outside of a complete fluke in Scooby being overlooked by everyone in the world the best two Defensive players we have on the team are Mike Stoops players.

Yeah he has 11 wins over the last 3 years, but his first year they went 1-11. No one needs to calm down, we're just pointing out a team that was 1-11 2 years ago is now 5-0. The fact that they have already won 1 conference game vs 0 total in 2013 should point out that fact.TuiTouchdown wrote:They're 5-0 but their best win is a middle of the road Wash team. Sonny Dykes or RR?
You can't ignore what Dykes has going on at Cal.
Calm down everyone.

Even at the height of the JH days, place was never more that 75% full and people didn't really show until about 5min left in the 1st.3goggles wrote:That's a shame because They have a great teamCalStateTempe wrote:Games at Palo Alto are awful.3goggles wrote:It's sad that you can hear the U Of A chant.
Furd fans are trash.
The Cult of the MICHIGAN MAN killed RR in in Michigan.michcat wrote:Special teams and defense are what doomed rr at Michigan. They haven't improved any here.
Plenty of stuff doomed RR at Michigan. Plain and simple, besides all the behind the scenes drama, he was a bad fit for that school, and he didn't have everything he asked for.ghostwhitehorse wrote:The Cult of the MICHIGAN MAN killed RR in in Michigan.michcat wrote:Special teams and defense are what doomed rr at Michigan. Crazy as both are stoops recruits tooazcat49 wrote:Have to love to the effort from JJ and Sir T. Both are playing there Ass off
I guess when the question is Dykes or RR based off of two bad losses, then I think people are overreacting.Fishclamps wrote:Yeah he has 11 wins over the last 3 years, but his first year they went 1-11. Good thing we don't have enough football history to follow suit with that BS. RR is a much better fit at a place like Arizona. Now if he could just get rid of his affinity for the 3-3-5.ghostwhitehorse wrote: The Cult of the MICHIGAN MAN killed RR in in Michigan.
NP, I'm pretty sure both are RR kids. Sir T is for sure.Newportcat wrote:Crazy as both are stoops recruits tooazcat49 wrote:Have to love to the effort from JJ and Sir T. Both are playing there Ass off
Agreed, and with how injuries are hitting us this season, I'm not feeling good about any single game left on the schedule. This is football though, shit happens. And this is Arizona football, so shit happens a lot.TuiTouchdown wrote:I guess when the question is Dykes or RR based off of two bad losses, then I think people are overreacting.Fishclamps wrote:Yeah he has 11 wins over the last 3 years, but his first year they went 1-11. Update:dmjcat wrote:Two things I hope to see:
1) RRod isn't stubborn and gives Dawkins a chance if the Furd loads the box against Randall
and shuts down the run
2) Casteel isn't stubborn and sticks with a 3-3 front against Furds 7 man Jumbo line.
Normally I would campaign for an extra LB but we are fresh out of those. Time for
Casteel to adapt and play 4 DL's if the base defense doesn't stop the run
I'm ok with him focusing on JJ if, you know, he could possibly not throw it 2 feet over his head, or as I type this, Wilson's head.ghostwhitehorse wrote:Randall may be focusing too much on JJJ. . .
What that tells me is that we don't have to rely on Freshman. Which I like.Newportcat wrote:Bad time to write this, but our 2015 recruiting class has contributed nothing to us this year
Nope, both were walk ons under stoops who both redshirted his last year here in 2011Gladiator Cat wrote:NP, I'm pretty sure both are RR kids.
