Great, not only are we going to get clobbered we are going into the Scum game all dinged up.

If Tate doesn't get us in on the next series RRod needs to pull him for Dawkins. Tate is already dinged.

We'll have no DL left for ASU.

Parker Sellers will be fresh though - he didn't make the trip due to disciplinary reasons

Yes, please. And where are the TEs? All I remember is Nunley dropping one last series.

I've been pushing for football bribery for a long time

Seems like every year there's one or two high 4 stars or even 5 starts that kind like us...but they get bribed away.

Just bribe those two guys, the two really good players that like us but get bribed away right at the end. Just match the bribe and keep them here.

Combine that with the talent disparity, and, well, you get what has happened thus far.

This is what happens when even a mediocre coach has 2 weeks to prepare for RR. He is so over his head. And again, remember that it doesn't matter how many points you give up on defense.

When is the last time we had a really great defense? Late 90's when we had Chris McCallister is the last one I can remember.

Some of our early defenses under Stoops weren't actually that bad. We just had no offense.

Yep, especially with our defense being as awful as it is. And teams with 2 weeks to prepare for a RR offense will always have the upper hand. He can't really scheme or game plan to save his life.

Specially with that knee problem. Dawkins can finish the game, and probably even punt too.

This is the first bad loss in the Tate era. Granted, they had two weeks to prepare, got their QB back, and are hunting for a bowl berth. We just fell apart and seemingly quit in the fourth quarter.

This is one of the reasons.

Our team can't get any momentum under RR, can't go on the road and beat a "big name" team to show the fans that we're not just a mediocre team that can occasionally pull the upset against a high ranked team.

But with out talent level and other issues, it is what it is.

What we should be striving for as a program is to not be mediocre since that is what we've always been. The baseline minimum for an acceptable season should be 8-4. A good to great season is 9-10 wins. I'm not satisfied with 3-7 wins a season like everyone else.

He's harping on that because he had an argument with some other posters in a thread regarding the defense, and someone said that it doesnt matter how much the D gives up if the O scores more.

Hater would like a decent to good defense in addition to having a decent to good offense. Some people get mad when he calls the D bad.
