All I can say is, Anu must secretly despise our fans.

Even my son, who knew nothing else about the loss, said "I know it had something to do with the quarterback."

Smart kid. Dumb Anu.

Freshmen gonna make freshmen mistakes. This one hurt. But he'll get better.

The end of the Anu Solomon era.
Really!!! It was not a smart play he will learn from and it's no way to the end of the Anu as the starter! Take a breath and jump off the ledge!

He's also had a redshirt year, so it's not like Solomon is learning the system this year.

Play after play after play. I'm just in awe at the decisions he made tonight. Flat out awful.

Pac-12 South Champs. Lose to Boise State in Arizona.

That's how bad Oregon beat us.

Anu played great on the big stage. That last play was not the reason we lost the game.

WHAT LOST THE GAME WAS THE 21 POINTS THEY PUT UP IN THE FIRST QUARTER!

Hats off to the comeback, we played better the rest of the game.

Makes you wonder if they were coached on ant 2 minute drill situations. Just mind boggling play calling and QB decisions. This is on RR and Anu.

How many times did the announcers say he missed an open receiver? Lots of points left on the board.

He would start drives by rolling out to the right. He would continue the rest of the series by throwing to the near side of the field. His choices effectively shut Dow 2/3 of the passing game till the last few drives when he suddenly decided to attack the middle. I have never seen a QB make so many maddening decisions. I am not gonna sit here and say he shouldnt start next year because I do not have the understanding nor football acumen of the staff. But even as a novice I could see that the constant attack of the nearside handcuffed our offense. The lack of pocket presence and awareness was shocking for a RS freshman that supposively ran this offense in HS and has had a year in the system prior.

And yet he was one of the nations top freshman QB's. Let RR work with him all spring and summer to correct that. He showed that he can attack the defense verticaly when we needed to. So I think the throwing to the near side was RR trying to limit the mistakes. I feel that RR has a grasp of his QB's and Scheme as he was one of the OG's with this style of play. I think we will see the next level of this offense to be like Oregon and attack the middle of the field with play action and possible using the TE's I know its shocking to say!
