Ball was the best player on the floor, but it was by no means as big a gap as Bug states...for every amazing 3 there was questionable stuff like that shot at the end of the first half, and he stopped no one defensively on man and was a late close out in the zone, allowing us to swing the ball and get them totally out of defensive shape. Ball had the best game but I don't think he was the best offensive player on the floor, even. That 7 footer that hit a few threes then put the ball on the ground, drove by a perimeter defender, then dropped a spin move in the paint for a lay up? THAT guy is the best offensive player on the floor. Holy shit!

Ball has the strongest dribble I have seen since Kidd. He nearly breaks the floor with each dribble. He is still prone to hero ball (that end of half shot was so dumb) but he is very, very good. I still think I'd take Markkanen over him in a draft if I had no specific need, but anyone who needs a PG should grab him first.

My favorite part was Leaf getting worked a couple of times by Markkanen, and his slack jawed "huh?" expression when PJC blocked himself with the backboard and LM followed with the dunk while Leaf stood still and didn't follow Lauri. Leaf had a couple of blocks, but seriously...does anyone think we got the lesser of the Leaf/Markkanen trade?
