Ayton is the the new Brandon Ashley, any contact gets a foul call against him.

Why is he going to the league? He has no handles, a poor shot, terrible decision making, and can't think of even why he is out there with 2 fouls.

1 point in 15 minutes.
At this point I'm not sure Alkins would be taken in the second round. Doe's not look confident in his game at all.

Because Arizona. Ayton is his own arc.

Cats need a lift off the bench, from anyone this game.

We tried to foul there and they didn't call it. Do these refs have skin in the game?

I'm not even sure Trier would be a 2nd round pick, completely disappears again in the first half.

Ill be shocked if rawle gets drafted. He honestly couldn't step foot on an NBA court right now. He can't shoot, he's an avg. defender. He's pretty bad on the break and driving. He's going to need a lot of years in the NBDL.

Cats getting beaten off the dribble and via bounce pass to the posts. That's it.

Better footwork and more aggressive drives against the zone will have Cats winning this title going away. Unfortunately, this is not that kind of team, and the result is yet another react-and-respond first half.

Basically in the 2nd half the ball should go to either Ayton or Dusan even with the zone. Our guards and wings are sucking it up tonight.

Rawle is the new Trier. :x

Seriously he is the single player most responsible for us not being ahead by 8. But I don’t think he is selfish or a mercenary. Just playing like shit. If he floats one more ball into the rafters and clangs it off the back of the rim, I give permission for Ayton to slam the ball in his face.

Rawle will have a better 2nd half

Trier needs to get more aggressive and start driving the ball and getting fouled.

And we need to stop their big dumb looking white guy

As good as Ristic has grown into being in most facets of the game, his four-year inability to stop the pick-and-roll is the reason SC is ahead, and Rikocevic is responsible. Just too easy, and I do look forward to a defense that can recover off high-post screens next season.

Dylan Smith is 0-8 from 3 point range in the Pac 12 tourney.

Alkins is playing like absolute shit. If he was a freshman, he wouldn't be playing at all.

It's a shame that Randolph hasn't developed and the coaches don't trust him. We could use some help right now. Akot had a bad turnover and a bullshit foul. But he plays hard.

I'd love to see us play zone for just a possession or two, just to see how it would effect USC. But I doubt our execution would be any better than our terrible man defense fundamentals.

Younger, quicker players. If Ira Lee hadn't had his concussion protocol, I would've loved to see what he could've done in first-half situations in this tourney.

But yeah, at this point, Ristic has far more pluses than that minus, and it's up to the rest of the packline to provide help.

If Alkins and Trier could step up their play on the defensive end, we might actually be a dominant team.
