You can see Gettings gaining confidence in the starting lineup. He has been very good both on offense and defense. He's saving the Cats tonight.

Let's see if Gettings can hit a free throw in crunch time though. Our senior leaders incl. Smith seem to get the yips.

Is that right though, a double double already?

WSU, besides having the coolest logo in the PAC, has one of the nicest looking courts too. Although I don't recognize any of the landmarks.

But what's with all the empty seats?

went from being down 8-15 with about 10 minutes gone in the first half, to now being up 32-23 at half time.

that's a solid little swing there.

let's just start the 2nd half on a good run please.

it's always been that way. Pretty sure outside of that like 3 year period with Bennett whenever that was in like 2007-2011 they've always been dead last in attendance in the conference. Just is a factor of them historically being awful at basketball (been to the tournament 5 times since Pearl Harbor and only twice in the last 25 years) and the fact that they are in the middle of nowhere with a tiny local fan base.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.

Well that was a thrilling half.

Can't imagine Miller being happy with Baker's shot. Could have been an exact replay of what happened when Hazzard was benched.

Probably would not be admitted to the PAC if they applied today. Don't think their academics is all that good either.

Was worried when Stone sat with over 5 minutes to finish the half. But we didn't piss away the lead. Good on ya team.

I think the rise of Gonzaga in the last 20 years has doomed them too. Only so many people willing to support basketball out in eastern WA and northwestern Idaho. And since Gonzaga is in the only big town for hundreds of miles, everyone just supports Gonzaga basketball.

Got a feeling Elleby is gonna go nutz in the 2h. Hope we can keep him under his average while keeping our advantage on the boards. Would be nice to see more dimes in our stat box, but who cares if we just win.

Missed 3 by Smith leads to a quick 2 points by the opposing team. How often has that happened this season?

So if Arizona copied the Washington schools with the court design would they go with Tucson skyline?
And would that be the Catalinas or a picture of Williams, Stokes and Rooks?

This is the first UA game I have listened to on the radio in years (38,000 feet up in a 777 over southern Canada enroute to London). Its hard to tell if we are playing really good defense or the Cougs are just shooting really, really, badly.

A quick elbow jumper against the zone doesn't bug me, but a long 3 early in the clock just seems so fucking stooopid.
