We're offensively challenged once again.

Meh half. We're not communicating well and seem out of sorts.

Lobo women can shoot the ball.

Again facing a team that's running a zone and daring us to shoot over the top.
Need someone to penetrate with the dribble to create opportunities and be able to finish near the rim.
Bendu or Shaina should be stepping up into that role for us, but we looked way to passive out there in the first half.
We're being too content with just passing around the perimeter and ocassional attempts at entry passes (often that were ill-advised).
I'd also like to see more of the trapping semi-press we employ from time to time, instead of just pressuring the inbounds and then dropping back.

I only saw the last several minutes, but the Cats look passive, like you observe…

.. has me thinking of some of Lute’s coached teams in last game before holiday.

Time to BEAR DOWN!!!!

Sam having a really rough shooting day

although i do like that she's still shooting. in previous years she'd often stop if she didnt hit right away, and we need her to shoot through slumps as long as she's shooting good lucks

Love how stifling we can be on defense.

Final won't be indicative of how close the game was most of the time.

Both the men and women should be top 5 tomorrow.

I know this is my mantra (inherited from my mother), but this team needs to make more of their flippin’ freethrows. Let’s be honest, make two more freethrows last game, last year, those women have a gold patch on the back of their unis. Haven’t seen the official, but I’m thinking they were barely over 50% from the line today. That’s not good enough. Get it together ladies/coaches, FT’s are called free for a reason.

Oh, and Sam had three bad passes the first half. She just looks off, but at least she made her throws.
