The next level for Boz is the nasty killer instinct.

The start to the second half really put us in a bind. Critical rebounding down the stretch. Really need Larson in there at the end of games to settle us down. Good win.

I'm hoping games like this will prepare him for March so he can be a killer all game.

This team likes to play D…..I hope Lewis and Abercrombie and Larsson are our lock down defenders by the second half of the Pac season

Happy for Bradley. Played a great game on D and hit the big shot. He's getting more comfortable out there, Pelle in foul trouble against Sparty could be a silver lining.

Typical Izzo MSU team. Hard nosed, physical, with some NBA talent mixed in. And we stood toe to toe with them. Bear Down!

I love that they slapped the floor when they went up by 3, just like Duke did. Never ever slap the floor.

Bradley played great D and hit a tough shot to give us the separation needed. Really happy that he’s starting to contribute.

Dang, what a deep team we have this year.

After Caleb went 1-2 at the line I was kinda surprised the Refs didn't call foul on Keshad's block on Walker's drive/shot at the basket. They seemed that capricious in the 2h.

So when they went up by 3:
Love -2
Love Miss - Johnson follow- 2
Love Miss - Johnson follow - 2 fts
Bradley -2
Love -1 ft
Lewis -2
Plus good defense by all.

9 of the 11 points from guys from the portal.

Seem to recall Lloyd saying he was going to go the transfer portal to get toughness after the Princeton flameout last season. Johnson has to be the biggest surprise, at least to me. What a big time player. We all knew Love was a scorer first and last

I get that reference.

One of my biggest regrets while a student was when Warren Zevon was going to perform at Louie's Lower Level in the University Union but I couldn't find anyone to go with me. It was: "who?". Should have just gone by myself.

If I had a time machine I'd go with you. Afterward we'd get up to some stuff.

Well I rewatched the game yesterday and to be honest we had 4 shots from the 2:49 mark on that made me cringe. Luckily two ended out of bounds and KJ got the put back on the other two. We need to reign it in and take only quality shots that late in the game. Great win and really good defense too.
Always happy with a win but we still can improve significantly and that is a good thing.

I thought the same thing. Our shot quality really did decline late in that period. Lots of standing around off ball and waiting for a hero move. Sometimes I wish Tommy was a smidge more dominant, and those are the times. Ya gotta call-the-ball and land the damn fighter on the carrier deck. Right now Caleb is our Maverick, and Keshad at the wingman spot can tag-team a closing moment. Without Pelle on the floor .... Bradley Goddamn! .... that landing wasn't pure but who fucking cares until we can pick bones over film?

I thought it was a great end-of-game performance. But, I only watched it live.
