Banff experiences?

Post by Spaceman Spiff »

I've been wanting to go for a while with my wife. We're not skiers, so not looking for a snowy time.

Anyone with experience? Generally we're just looking for outdoor fun. Not super-strenuous hikes, but we're not averse to walking. We like to relax and don't need to have too much activity planned out. Essentially wandering around and exploring beautiful places is the goal.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Spent a week there. There's a lot to do that doesn't require heavy hiking. Lake Louise is pretty amazing. Rent a car.

A few more specific questions too:

Rent a car and drive to Lake Louise. Stay a day or two and then drive to Jasper. Some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. We were there in September. The parks are all gorgeous.

On the bucket list for us. Hey Hoya, is the grizzly from Banff?
