So a little hobby of mine is trying to find cheap airfare and rack up FF miles for cheap flights.

Helps to be willing to travel to a large hub for the best deals. SFO works well for me and I’ve seen lots of great deals out of Phoenix. You just have to be flexible with dates, be open to destinations, (like not, I want to go there, but rather I want to go anywhere and WOW that place looks cool and cheap) and move fast. I saw SFO to Brussels in the summer for 400RT and it went in 4hrs. (We lost our seats for a potential ticket because when I entered the card information to purchase, it routed me back to the reservations search for Air France and the price had jumped)

Recently was able to land July RT SFO to London on Virgin Atlantic for 350 nonstop RT.

Just scored SFO to Milan, 550pp, RT on British Airways, in high season next June.
