Any "can't miss" things to do in the city over a 3 day business trip with a couple of free evenings? Unfortunately Sox and Celtics games won't be possible.

Walk the Freedom Trail. Go to Boston Common. Check out Bull & Finch if you were a Cheers fan. Never did a duck boat - maybe others can comment on whether it's worth it.

It's a shame you can't make a Sox game. I grew up a Cubs fan and have been to Wrigley multiple times, but experiencing Fenway was right up there if not even better. My son surprised me with tickets on our Cape Code trip - snuck him a beer when he was underage just like my dad did for me at Wrigley.

Go to the North End for amazing Italian food.

Check out the New England Aquarium if you have some time to kill.

Avoid everyone who lives there.

Oh yeah, don't forget to go to Dunkin' Donuts. One on every corner.

Take a day trip to cape cod or even better the Basketball hall of fame (best museum in the country IMO). I like Aquarium and surrounding area as well and little Italy.

Springfield is not close to Boston (about 80 miles) so unless you are a basketball junkie I wouldn't go. Springfield sucks quite frankly.

In Boston, as a new comer, I would do Fenway if there is a game, Duck boat if the weather is good, Freedom Walk and North End.

Try to miss catching Covid. Seems like it's raging there. Everyone I know there is fighting it now.

I had a great time. Ended up getting drinks with new team in the evenings so had less time to explore. I'll be back late summer, so will try to give a bigger window to explore next time.

Newbury St in the Back Bay must be a dream place for a single man in their mid-20s. Ratio of women to men was easily 4-1 during the day.
