Thanks. I’m saving that. It’s in the comments where they talk about the “campus bureacrat’s hands”.

Or sabotage the coach like they did to CSM. Seems like their management style.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

So, D1 baseball did a list of the top 100 most effective pitchers this year. (Not a Wildcat among them). Rocker is number 7. What’s interesting to me is that we did pretty ok against Numbers 6 and 8, and all their numbers are pretty close.

https://d1baseball.com/prospects/d1-ana ... -pitchers/

7 Michael McGreevy UC Santa Barbara 91.87 88.55 82.97 93.91
8 Kumar Rocker Vanderbilt 91.55 85.94 88.45 90.36
9 Pierson Ohl Grand Canyon 91.26 88.26 85.66 90.77

They are getting on a plane today for Omaha. It's taking them close to a week to render a decision based on if they won SR?

Can't be that complex. Either they are suspended or not. Is there a hearing that is dependent?

One thing that is a HUGE advantage for us in Omaha, and I think the underlying reason for the stats in that tweet, is the size of Hi-C, and how that translates to TD Ameritrade. Every year, every team gets to Omaha, and suddenly, their offense doesn't hit like it did all season, their outfield alignments are confused as fuck, and they're just very off-kilter at Omaha. We play in a place that's bigger, we know how to play in the park, and that is evidenced by our 2 trips since moving. Champs and Game 3 loss.

We are most prepared for Omaha out of any team, and yes, that includes everybody-sucks-our-dick Vandy.

Also, I can't wait for the collective SEC-sucking media to watch Donta track down everything in sight.

Great points. The 2012 team thrived off of gap to gap hitting at Hi-C which paid off but in Omaha. If I recall, Hi-C field was even bigger the first few years. I’m sure Johnson will have a plan for Vandy. Regardless of who is pitching, baseball is a weird game and any team can win on a given day. Can’t wait for Saturday.

This is what sucks, nobody knows. A traffic violation, as was previously alluded to, could not possibly be the issue. At the same time why come out and say they were suspended for the Supers if you were going to suspend them for the CWS as well? Nothing makes sense when idiots rule the roost.

Ridiculous.

So if it was a DUI would that be enough to suspend them through the CWS?
It's gotta be something worse. My guess there is another party possibly pressing charges.

I can only assume it is something along those lines unless our Athletic Department and Dean of Students are the absolute worst in the nation at handling minor offenses.

Well the good news is that our school administrators are once again inviting rampant speculation about Arizona student athletes by being their dumbfuck selves again.

Robbins and Heeke could fuck up a wet dream…

It’s not a DUI or anything that resulted in an arrest. That would be available in court files. Ira Lee’s DUI was in the court records the next morning. Arrests with pending charges are always up within a day or two.

I really think it was so minor it was almost inconsequential and the admin overreacted because that NOA is still out there and they’re trying to prove that they do have institutional control despite both Robbins and Heeke being called out in said NOA.

The first report was that it was for one game, then it was the super regionals. And in one of Coach Johnson’s many interviews, he mentioned that he didn’t get clearance to add them back to the roster until it was too late to submit an updated roster for the CWS. That screams administration screw up to me.

The Elliot Pitts thing was not known about right away (some still to this day) and was more than justified reason to suspend him. Hopefully it is not something of that nature. Until more is known I will assume that missing such important games was likely something very serious.

Wow, can't wait for this entire administration of boobs to be gone. Maybe they can go hang with Larry Scott inside a dead whale in Antarctica.

Yea those pinstripes really are the best in college baseball. Clean and smart looking.

Had a dream last night that Danta’ led off with a 10 pitch at bat and then took Rocker yard. Berry followed with an 8 pitch walk and then Bossier went 6 pitches before hitting a double to score Berry. We were up 2-0 and Rocker hadn’t recorded an out and had thrown almost 25 pitches. AZ baseball baby!! We are going to do this

Let’s hope you can see in the future and this happens. If we jumped on them right from the get go, it would be really deflating and I’d love to hear EsPn talk their way out of that one

Get prepared for the constant and over the top fawning that we will hear throughout this game. Almost thinking about putting the volume on mute.

You guys do know that Rocker and Leiter are the best pitchers ever and we will be lucky to even make contact?

I hope we jump all over Rocker early and hear the inevitable backpedal "are you surprised the Wildcats are hitting Rocker? Well, actually Arizona's offense was pretty good this year and..."

I know I'm biased but those pinstripes really are the best looking uniform I've seen in college baseball.

Only thing I would change is to make the A on the cap a little bigger (same with the football helmets!)

Getting excited for this game today. Hoping Silseth gets back to form and we stay patient at the plate and make Rocker work hard. Can't miss his mistakes.

My buddy who is an LSU guy says they are going to go hard at JJ and he says their is interest from JJ.

Might just be a leverage play but we can’t match their money. Excited about the CWS but really bummed the big money SEC is going after our coaches (Amado)
