Lost game 3 2-5. The bats are most definitely not getting it done right now.

Are we about done with Jay Johnson? It feels like we're getting worse every year.

Won game 4 11-5. Hopefully the ship starts to right from this point on.

I think it's a little premature for that. JJ's only been coach for 4 full seasons, with 1 tourney appearance and 1 CWS runner up, albeit with Lopez's guys for the most part, but Lopez hadn't been to the postseason in the previous 3 years with a lot of those same guys. Going to the tourney 2 out of 4 years ain't bad, especially in a sport like baseball where you can lose your top recruits in the amateur draft before they even step foot on campus (like this year). Last year was Yeskie's first season on the coaching staff and they only played 15 games. I felt like they were gaining momentum before the 2020 season and got cut off with a 10-5 record.

We'll see what happens this year but waaaay to early to tell after 1 weekend regardless if they're 4-0 or 0-4.

Down 3-0 and we get a 4 spot. Price is incredible out of the pen. 9+ innings I think so far without a run given up

Cats beat OU again, this time 12-1.

Dallas Baptist will be a good test too. They were Top 30 starting the season.

Jay got too cute with the pitching once again and has blown a 5-1 lead to a 5-5 tie in the 5th now.

Cats just put up a 7 run inning. Now 12-7.

And that's how the game ends, we win 15-8. Vince Vannelle exited the game though due to injury, so that's something to watch.

Impressive tourney for us and the bats are alive! That is concerning about VV. Arguably one of our top two or three guys out of the pen (with Price and Flanagan)

TJ Nichols moved to 3-0 on the season and we beat Missouri 8-4 today. Looks like the team is really coming together nicely

After the wins over Oklahoma and Missouri, the Cats are up to #16 in the Baseball America poll. Brandon Boissiere was named the tournament MVP.

The best win was over Dallas Baptist. That was their home field and they are usually in the tourney. They beat up both those other teams

They run so hard out of the box on every hit, even the no-doubters.

Cats win the first game 8-5. Nice win where we got a quality start from Our Friday night guy and some timely hitting

We are a lot better than ASSU in my mind. They were gifted their 5 runs. Maybe they are playing a lot of freshman but they seem small and not as mature physically as our guys. Hope we sweep them
