I’d say 6 innings pitched no runs, 1 hit, 2 walks and 4 K’s was pretty damn good for a debut.

Just so happen to have Silseth's major league debut airing in the background the other night. Wouldn't've even noticed if it weren't for the announcers making a pretty big deal over Silseth pitching for the Angels only a year after pitching for Arizona. Guy was born in the year 2000 and already in pro sports.

The chyron showed the runner on second. How'd he get to third?

He also scored the tieing run in the 10th as the Red Sox scored 3 to beat the Yanks. Dalbec had an RBI too.

Looks like we can add another to azgreg's list above - I read an article yesterday that Austin Wells is expected to be 1 of 2 catchers on the Yankees active roster to start the 2024 season.

And he’s going to be a good one. His defense caught up to his offense. Can’t wait to watch the kid handle his business.

I feel bad for him being in pinstripes. How long until he gets injured?

😉

Kevin Newman 4 for 5 with a 2 RBI walk off single for the Dbacks against the Reds.

Didn't even realize he was on Arizona this year until I turned the game on tonight.
