It's not the PAC-12 Baseball Tournament. It's a PAC-12 Spring Football game!

Disappointed we lost. But the silver lining is we can rest everyone until the real tournament starts. And winning wasn't going to change our seeding next week anyway.

And in game 2 UCLA drops an infield pop up in the 9th and the Beavs score two to come back and win.

Nuts.

Not sure there is any difference between a 2 or a 3 seed unless the top seeds in our bracket get upset like with the women's softball. I would take that region.

GCU is a 3 seed in Stillwater.
The Ducks are the 2 seed in Louisville.
UCLA is the 2 seed at Auburn.
The PAC has 5 teams in the tourney.

Rematch vs Ole Miss to get things started. I think we can win this regional although I am counting on a healthy Chase Davis

Would love to see a Super Regional against LSU.

That would be fun wouldn’t it! You look at that Hattiesburg regional and it appears to be much easier than ours although I don’t know a whole lot about Kennesaw St

Seems like there are some LSU fans already making plans for Omaha, https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/lsu ... 102685270/
I wonder if Berry is 100%? He played against Vanderbilt in their last regular season series, but did not play in the SEC tournament.

Happens every year...followed by tornados in Omaha. If I was king, all NCAA spring outdoor championships would be played from Santa Barbara to San Diego within 10 miles of the ocean.

Not really sure how this Regional ever gets a rhythm. Based on the weather forecast it looks like Sunday will be periodic Showers/TStorms so you have to figure several stoppages of games. Same with Mon and Tue. So while it might get played it sure won't be very convenient to getting any mojo going. Not sure why it wasn't moved knowing what the weather forecasts were? Idiots

Not sure where I saw it (probably twitter feed), but somebody said if the regionals are weather delayed beyond Tuesday, the highest seed (generally the host) automatically advances. Considering the way we finished up the last month of the season, beggars certainly can't be choosers, but it's a helluva way to run an airline. Miami might wind up with an incentive to drag their feet every inning they play in their regional.

Monday, tropicana field is open. They should change it to single elimination and play three games. The NCAA is beyond stupid

I just came from the west coast of Florida where it rained in amounts I’ve never seen before (including Tucson monsoons and a year living in Louisiana).

Not sure what the field is (grass or synthetic) but I’m guessing the outfields will be sloppy no matter what.

LSU was down 6-2 in the bottom of the 9th and tied it. They then won it it in the bottom of the 10th, winning 7-6. Looks like they will be coming out of that regional.

Pin this loss on pitching decisions. Irvin looked tired going into the 7th. Gave up a bomb that tied the game. Flanigan has been our setup man all year. I know we wanted lefty on lefty matchups in the 8th, but putting a freshman in that spot? He threw 9 pitches, 8 of them balls, and that was the game.

What about the 20 strikeouts?
