Cats take game two 9-0 as Denham pitches the shutout. Palomino and Harper both hit two homers and Kean ended the game with her first career home run. Btw, Palomino and Harper lead the league in homers each with 17.

Last series is @Stanford before the tourney goes down. Furd is the worst team in the conference so we should sweep them easily and be a top 16 seed in the tourney with a 41-13 record.

Cats beat Stanford in game one 1-0 as they get a huge rbi double from Edior in the top of the 7th. Taylor pitched another shutout.

Cats lose game three 2-1 in eight innings. The UofA left too many runners in scoring position. It was nice to see Candrea give Gina Snyder the start. She gave up one run in over 4 innings pitched.

I highly doubt it. The Cats should get somewhere between a 9th-12th seed. They will get to host a regional next week. Oregon, UCLA, Washington and asu will all be a top-8 seed. I hope they get in the same bracket as Florida State, the Seminoles are not as good as their seeding.

I saw us predicted anywhere between the 9 and 11 seeds going into the Furd series. We're now a 14 seed.

Getting the 14th seed is total BS. SEC got home cooking again. Advance and play UCLA.

Is there any NCAA postseason tourney that is NOT absurdly SEC-biased at this point?

I mean, when the Top 10 is always so traditionally packed with Pac-12 teams, and it's the SEC teams once again getting the favorable seeding--in SOFTBALL--something absolutely stinks.

The SEC got a lot of the ranked seeds, but they're only hosting two super regionals if the win their regional. Plus, one of the match ups would be two SEC teams, Georgia and Tennessee. Win and advance, maybe try and get some revenge on UCLA.

If it goes chalk the PAC-12 will host 4 super regionals. Oregon, UCLA, Washington, and ASSu. The SEC will have two; Florida and Georgia with Oklahoma and Florida St grabbing the other two spots.

Isn't it 11:30 EST? I agree, that in PA it will be 11:30, but it will be 9:30 MST. 8:30 PST.

Arizona (MST) is the same as PDT this time of year. 8:30 in both.

"Arizona Time" still needs to be clarified depending on where one is in Arizona.

Great to see Hughes back in the line-up. Kean did a great job while Ashleigh was out. Jenna has a lot of confidence and will now bat in the 9th spot.

You would expect Denham to pitch the first game today and save Taylor if they have to play another game, but I would not be shocked if Candrea starts Taylor. She has been pitching exceptionally well and only threw 93 pitches yesterday.

Taylor is going to have to Taryne Mowatt this for us to have a chance, but yes pulling like a mofo for Fullerton tonight. So far all the seeded teams have won their regional though with only a handful remaining.
