Still alive. Let's keep it going.

Walks and errors will kill you. Hate to see the seniors season end like this. Thanks for a great ride. Hopefully Candrea does not retire. Need to get a stud pitcher from the transfer portal.

Hope Candrea finishes out his contract. But if not, we'll miss you Coach.

If they throw to first, the runner would be out and run shouldn’t count

This senior group is quite possibly my favorite single class of athletes to come through the university. I’m sad for them that it ended like that, but they have, and will continue to represent the U of A with a ton of class.

It appears that he's seriously considering it, and what would be a more convincing time than when seven seniors who've been there 4-6 years are leaving?

OTOH, with the end of the pandemic restrictions, who deserves a "farewell tour season" more than Mike Candrea??? (We see K doing that in basketball, so why not Coach Candrea???)

I don’t want Coach K and Coach being used in the same sentence. One is a self-serving prick and the other is a humble and self-effacing man that doesn’t care about the attention to feed his ego.

That’s why I think he’s retiring now, on his terms with his Arizona softball family.

I can't help but wonder if there's something more, maybe health issues with him (or his wife, he's already lost one) affecting his decision. Seems like there's something all his players know about that we don't.

I don't think there is a likable player on the Oklahoma team.

I agree. And it starts with Patty Gasso in my opinion. I’ve never liked her.

I’m hoping so bad that JMU wins and knocks out Oklahoma.

1-0 JMU in the 3rd.

I correct my earlier assessment of her potential legacy...

... turns out she isn’t even an Alicia Hollowell or a Taryne Mowatt.

Alicia and Taryne won championships. Cat Osterman and Monica Abbott didn't win shit in OKC.

If fact, they pitched awesomely!! Two of Arizona’s greatest championships, in large part because of beating those two!!!!
