Ayton was picked to join the World Team, not the US team so I imagine you are correct.

How cool would this be?

This team has been a lot of fun to watch in the WNIT. Hope they can go all the way.

29-23 cats at half. Had a 27-13 lead but gave up a 10-2 run to end the half. Getting crushed on the boards. At least 10k at this game. Had to open a top level center section to accommodate the fans. Buzz going on we will host the final if we win. Northwestern and James Madison playing on the other side of the bracket

Yeah I'd bet anything we host. It would probably actually get close to a sell out.

Awesome to see. Completely validates the "build it and they will come" strategy for college sports. If the teams produce results...then the fans will come. If Arizona football started winning.. people would come.

Man, I bet Miller wish he knew what he had to do to get the men to play defense like the women did tonight.

And good for the women for not getting scared when TCU kept cutting the lead down.

Just got back from the game. The atmosphere was awesome. It felt like a men's game. Btw, there was a long line of people buying tickets after the game was over. For those who live in Tucson, no excuse not to attend Saturday's final. Tickets are only $10.00.

Sadly, I have to work a catering event starting at 11 or I’d be there. I loved the hustle of this team from early on in the season and have enjoyed watching them grow as a team this year. If you haven’t seen Aari play, you’re missing a special player.

One of the UA pundits said the men's team should pick her up when they were having all their PG issues.

I put my Sling TV subscriptions on hold when the MBB season ended, so will be nice to watch the game OTA.

I came down from Phoenix to check out the excitement. It was fun and it is a different crowd from the men’s games. Hope the program can sustain that excitement into next year

My girlfriend said earlier in the season that she’s the best guard this campus has seen for awhile. I scoffed and said Aari’s a bit vertically and speed challenged in comparison. My GF then said that Aari could probably take Parker off the dribble. I just smiled at that point.

It's on CBS Sports Network, so you'll need something to watch.

Also, they've already sold over 9,000 tickets. Think we have a really good chance to sell out.

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't have that anyway with Sling TV, so used to find a stream via reddit. Hopefully someone will share one.

I admittedly don't follow hard core but I've been to 2 in my lifetime (little cousin is a fan!). If I were still in town I would definitely go. Awesome to see the community back the program. I bet with the lack of long standing tradition and I'm sure younger crowd, the atmosphere is probably similar to when Lute took over Arizona.

Over 11k tickets have been sold and they expect the game to be sold out. How cool is that. Tucson is a basketball town.

Who wants to bet we have more to the women’s game this week than for the spring game next week :)

Just picked up a ticket. Hopefully no OT bball, gotta pick up the wife at 2:30 to go to the Cirque du Soleil show at the TCC.

The last time I was at a women's bball game was 1988. I remember getting autographs from Kerr, Elliott, and Tolbert. Some of the guys evidently had girlfriends on the women's team and we're there to cheer them on. Looking forward to the game!
