So is this the year we get to exorcize our past demons?

Line em up then. Illinois, Ohio St., Wisconsin, Duke.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Oh well, too bad Santa Clara wasn't in there.

It’s nice to take a little breather today.

NC-Baylor is interesting as NC is very hot right now.
And which UCLA team shows up?

This is the non-chalk group from Thursday so should be fun.

I dreamed the Final Four was being held in Sweden this year, where they called it the "Great Storm". The Swedish loved the event but didn't understand it well, and due to some kind of screw-up by the NCAA, the Swedish people were able to choose the teams, which didn't necessarily win their regions.

Tar Heels working Baylor right now. I hope they blow them out. Not bragging but my bracket looks fantastic right now. I had Baylor getting ousted in the second round. I didn't think they deserved a #1 seed TBH.

North Carolina is one of those 8/9 seeds I didn’t want in our region. The other was Memphis and I think they give Gonzaga some trouble early. Baylor is in a heap of trouble

UNC, ucla or Purdue will be in the Final Four. Didn't see that coming. Maybe Purdue, definitely not the other two.

t’s really, really hard to come back from a big deficit in the tourney. Have seen this so many times. Baylor is done. I’ll never forget Arizona losing in ’98 to Utah, who was a huge underdog. We got down by a bunch and made a few runs. But we could never get the game close enough to really have a chance. If you get down by 15+, you’re toast 99% of the time.

They're one of 5 teams with Kenpom under 20 in offense and defense. Crazy

Gonzaga, Houston, Arizona (barely) and UCLA would be the only ones left

I don't see TCU putting that kind of offense on us at all but this game is a huge warning to us after yesterday. Play that sloppy again against TCU and we're going home
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.

Yeah, that was my thought too. Akinjo would've given us another layer of depth as insurance from injury. Oh well. He had a good season for us, and now he can return to Waco and find another school to transfer to. Or maybe his eligibility is up.

This is the essence of March, right? The top seeds are a little sloppy, a little too cavalier. Get off to a poor start. And the underdog just fucking pounces. It's happening to Baylor right now, and it will happen again before this weekend is through.

IMNSHO, Kier replacing Akinjo was a net plus for Arizona!
