So the UCLA-Arizona game is on ESPN, and an ESPN writer (Eammon Brennan) on ESPN.com avoids directly complimenting either team, and proceeds to tell his readers to find something more entertaining to do than watch this game:
Here's a fun trick: Role-play this game like an NBA scout. Watch individual prospects for entire possessions, both when they have the ball and when they don't. Take notes. Build a scouting report. List strengths and weaknesses. Provide time-stamped examples to review in the film room. Get really into it, you know? OK, OK: So maybe that's not your idea of a fun Saturday night. But if you were planning on staying in to watch UCLA -- which has improved since its early five-game losing streak, but not enough to avoid losses at Cal and Arizona State in recent weeks -- play this Arizona team in Tucson, you might need something beyond the game itself to keep you entertained. Got any better ideas?

Can't wait to see those signs, ODog.

Not sure why I didn't get it but all those guys esp Rece thought it hilarious.

So you liked that the zoo diminished the accomplishment of Miller and company beating the #3 team in the country and giving them their only loss of the year?

Yes. He liked it. He really, really liked it. That's exactly what he said. Alieberman is actually the one diminishing Arizona today by giving the Zona Zoo a "room for improvement" assessment for their performance today.

Your question does not need a response. The zoo camped out overnight, were lined up by the thousands at 530am, were completely rocking at 7am, 12 hours before tip-off, and yet in your mind they were diminishing Miller's accomplishments.

I guess they felt like Miller has not given them much to be excited about lately, and it was their form of payback for his selfish disregard of some important event in Phoenix the weekend of the ASU game.

Kids today are smart... And they realize that life is all about loving and helping people. They were sending a message to Miller by diminishing the home win against the Zags.

Yes that is exactly what you do when you chant overrated.

You are the 40 year old child obsessing over someone like you are a jr high bully.

Lets hope Miller wins tonight so he no longer has a losing record vs UCLA.

That is just a brutal show. Good for it to be at Arizona but still a brutal show.
Williams need to stop his schtick in the ripping of the shirt or whatever that is.
Will not watch again until it returns to Arizona.

Or they were pointing out that Gonzaga is overrated because they are ahead of us in the polls and yet we beat them head-to-head.

And now the latest bitch-slap in your growing compilation of your backhanded swipes at Miller. Growing up, did you have work at being - or does it come naturally?

Act like a man and own your envy of and contempt for our coach - head on. Don't hide behind your little non-so-vague-but-mildly-defensible insinuations. Losers always envy winners...

So instead of looking at the 2 hrs of positive outcome for UA today (so far, more to come), between Tucson, and the State of Arizona, and the UA Basketball Program and their coaches and players, and the fans that showed up early in the morning and brought energy, humor and cheer, you chose to fixate on the one small, mildly negative but ultimately insignificant chant because of your petty, vindictive hard-on for Sean Miller?

Of course you did.

Just admit you are a troll. Just admit you are a self-righteous, bloviating jackass on every UA message board, and act with full knowledge of the response you get and will continue to get by doing so. Everyone associated with UA was GREAT today in front of a national audience, but you flail about on the notions of small misteps and perceived injustices because you want others to feel your pain and inadequacy. It's aholes like you that prevent the spreading of love and helping people, not rambunctious students who chant "Over-rated", it's a chant I hate, but in the big picture it means absolutely NOTHING, and if you ever pulled the goal post from your ass, you'd realize it.

I am as anti "overrated" chant as the next guy. Maybe more. I hate it during games.

But this was a totally different circumstance. We have beaten them, they play a soft conference schedule, and they are still ranked above us. "Overrated" whether you agree or disagree with the truth of the statement, was totally acceptable in this circumstance. They are overrated because we beat them and they are still above us. Not because they are not any good. And not because we are beating them, which is implied in the "overrated" chant during a game, which is why I hate it in that circumstance. But they aren't the 3rd best team in the country, and they aren't better than us. So they are...overrated
