Yep. We're wildcats which usually means bobcats which have very short or bobbed off tail. Wilbur looks more like a lion. The graphics on our scoreboard usually show a lion running.

There is no such thing as a horned frog. They're horned lizards.

I'm not sure where to put this, but I've never seen a college basketball fan base melt down and explode like TCU fans are still doing on the internet. Completely lost their shit.

"Arizona is cheering too much in their huddle."
"Arizona acts like they won the title on every bucket."
"Arizona fans won't stop chanting."

Yeah, welcome to the fucking show.

I'm not going to repeat or acknowledge the hundred horrible things I've read from that fanbase, but I'll forever thumb my nose at them.

It's been a while since I've paid attention to the media after the first weekend. Are they always this reactionary? One Iffy weekend and it's like 33 wins never happened. We all have a different perspective of course bc our one banner came after barre escapes against a 13 and a 12 seed. I just find the unanimity that Arizona is toast to be perplexing.

The problem is a lot of these "people" are now cramming for a test to understand the pro's and con's with our team. They have not watched us like we have watched us - or if they have just snippets or basing our team on just the TCU game - so let them feel the way they do.

This team has continued to defy the critics time and time again so I like our chances.

Exactly.

I’m blown away at how awful gary Parrish and Matt norgaard are at their “analysis”

National experts don’t watch arizona. Even in the tournament, our games are on too late for them to really watch.

Houston has really good computer metrics and they're a good team.

But so is Arizona. As good as their metrics are, ours are better. Houston isn't bad, this is just strength on strength and you've gotta win those matchups to go all the way.

First comment on TCU fan base:
1. You can see the entire Horned Frog symbol that Kerr did because it is all on tape. I think it last ten seconds. Could be because they mocked his 1/10 shooting.
2. You can see the entire waving episode because it is captured on tape.....maybe 15 seconds and I'm not sure who the guy getting the piggy back ride was or it would have been 8 secs.
3. Benn's sexual assault...not sure he touched her but if he did a nono second.

This is a fanbase that sat thru a 8-10 conference that was about to make it somewhere they have never been....the sweet 16. They saw it disappear before their eyes on a Ben 3 and a follow up dunk by C-Lo. Maybe they should ask their coaches why no intentional foul with 12 secs left when they are dominating rebounding and question their boxout/rebounding at the most critical part of the game. You can also question why a guy did not pass the ball and was trapped 40 feet from the basket with 3 seconds left. That is what we would be doing on this board.

Tournament time really reminds you of how much talent you actually have.

Arizona has Mathurin, some distance and then Koloko and a bit of distance and then Terry.

All our supposed depth can't stay on the court.

Pretty much.

Not much to say. Our good teams again and again crash land in the tourney. It’s weird. It’s one thing if it happens a few times. But we’ve had March heartbreak too many times to remember.

Still, I loved, loved this team. Most fun I’ve had watching AZ hoops I’m ages.

It was a great season. There’s no question Houston was the better team, and we met them too early. But the injury to our point guard had a hell of a lot to do with this.

Unlike in October, we have a great self-made foundation.

It’s obvious we need to follow our recipe from the 97 team and most other teams that win or go deep in March….need a stable of quick guards that can handle the rock and shoot. Or at least two studs that fit that mold. A healthy Kerr fits the mold but nobody else on the roster. This team might’ve been good enough to go deeper with just a healthy Kerr meeting that criteria but unfortunately we will never know and he wasn’t healthy.

The game has changed. It is nearly impossible to recruit 4 year guys because of the transfer portal. What is more important is recruiting the right players out of the transfer portal.

Height won't beat teams that are more physical and quicker.

Along with Cats with a bunch of streaky players.

Can't have soft players like we have now and expect to go far.
