Re: Villanova, I was reminded recently that their facilities are out of the 1980s.
Their arena seats 6,500 and looks like a high school gym. Pretty sure their training and practice facilities are lagging as well.
So when we talk about renovations and upgrades to our facilities and how that benefits our recruiting, this is a prime example. Ive been on the Allen isnt a PG train for over a year now. He needs to play off the ball and be allowed to use his strengths to his advantage.
Kobi isnt ready to play PG yet, and it was pretty clear in the scrimmage. Allen looks like the back up PG by default right now, but Kobi is going to need to share the floor with Allen (like he did in Red-Blue) if he plays any sort of PG role, at least early in the season.

I agree with Miller on Allen needing to play off the ball. However, Kobi isnt ready to play the point. I watched one of his videos and his release didn't look low, but he has poor mechanics for a guy who wants to be a threat inside and outside. 1. Very low shot release. Whether that becomes an issue or not, who knows.
2. "Doesn't run well." I asked him whether he meant run the floor or physically run, he said both. Not as bad as Greg Oden though, and most kids encounter issues after college anyways (oh hello recent KU big men).
Your buddy was right about his motor, I picked up on that really quick and his scouting report discusses it too. He looks like the star high school player who is playing a quick pickup game at lunch with his friends but doesn't want to exert too much energy because he has a game that night.Tougher decision w/o McCoy in the fold... but would lean Trier for this season. Trier now, and not even a tough decision. Next year we will (probably) have Dusan at Center with Chance backing him up/playing the 4. Lee incoming, Smith likely returning, and there is plenty of time left with the 17 class.
