Do we want to think about potentially getting a domain name? Even if we change sites at some point, we can still use the domain name.

I'll volunteer to pay for it if we can come up with something.

We will be starting a private Facebook group where the discussion of the new name will take place. We don't want to keep it too public.

Ahh ok. That makes sense.

Some ideas have been batted around, but MAO (mystery admin overlord at TOS - or see Katzen's sig) is notorious for buying up UofA related and UofA player domain names.

Glad your here! View the forum thread in the basketball section, gives a good overview of whats been happening the past few days. All kudos to UAdevil and JMJ for setting this up.

There's too many complications with a private Facebook page, and it's no more tightly secured (less so, in fact) than the lower boards here, which are invisible without an account. Let's just discuss on the lower boards. And let's not get nuts about this.

If you're logged out, you can see General Discussion, but not Politics, Religion, and Beer, nor Media. I just tried it again and found that to be the case. Am I looking at this wrong?

I didn't figure it out on my own, either. I sent money to a motel room in Tombstone and it all got turned around for me.

so then no FB group? That was gonna be my excuse for reactivating my account

Also...who ever buys the name and I'm sure it'll be discussed...don't buy any hosting OR email packages...If the current member doesn't want to host, I'll do it for free. And also, I ALWAYS find coupons do buy domains for next to nothing.

The FB group is public, L, and has existed ever since the Gershon exodus. You just need to ask me to add you, in exchange for special favors.

I'll leave it up to you to decide which five words above are total BS.
