I just love a thread on the new forum with my name in the title.

Especially without being followed by the words "Stupid Lawsuit of the Month."

Welcome, CBCat--to your new home! What new projects have you been crew on?

Well, thanks for asking. I worked on Brooklyn 99 after How I Met Your Mother ended. Right nowI have no permanant position on a show. The big network TV shows are on hiatus and things crank up mid-July as far as shooting for the new season. I'm working on a kiddie show believe it or not that will be 12 eps. of original programing for Amazon.com. "Welcome to the world of new media." Been working on Masters of Sex on and off. That's an interesting one to get to paint sets on because they actually spend a lot of money on the art direction and it's a period show.
Fascinating that the show is a huge hit in Japan ( and one of the reasons Showtime is sinking tons of money into the show's art direction, cast, etc ) as the years after WWII are considered "the lost" years for them. While the rest of the world moved forward Japan was rebuilding. That country is completly enamored with the show's cars, clothes, and over all style and subject matter! because they essentially missed the 50's. Someone on the show related this to me recently and it was something I had never considered/knew about.

Well there's my two cents. Am I about to be reamed for over sharing and name dropping so I really feel like I'm a part of the board? ok, blast away. :o

thanks again all!

Most underrated new show of last year, IMO. Love ensemble casting, no laugh track, spoofing cop dramas while actually providing the relationships and drama that cop dramas excel at when good.

Under appreciated might be a better word. Not enough people watching. Yet The Big Bang Theory and the Kelso as Sheen Show get watched?
