Bold as in "Hang your ass out the window during a hail storm bold"????

This Wisconsin team has some maturity, but not enough depth to make it as far as you predict.

Nova played way to conservative...they beat themselves.

Please let us play them in the FF. You will be able to walk from Tucson to Glendale on the hoods of all the cars headed up to the game to root on the cats

Are you kidding? We couldn't be more lucky if we happen to play Wisconsin in the final four. Much better them than Duke, that's for sure

I want no part of Wisconsin in the final four (or the tournament for that matter)

Not this year, not next year, not ever

Really? I would much rather face Wisconsin than Duke. It's the final four. You're going to play a good team. Why not an eight seed?

Exactly. History is not important, playing flawed teams is much more important, and Wisconsin is SO much more flawed than Duke.

Same here. I would feel like a Rick Barnes' Texas team trying to beat a Lute Olson Wildcat team no matter which team was better.

UA's recent history with Duke is much better than with Wisky's.

Aside from Wisconsin and Xavier this tournament has been as devoid of upsets as I can remember.

GD ESPN showed highlights (more like lowlights) of the year Wisconsin beat us when we were a 1 seed, had Arenas, Jefferson, Walton et. al. Sons of bitches.

I am kind of in the same boat. Sorta...except I will skip the event.

I bought my wife Lewis Black tickets for Valentine's day. The show is Saturday night. I figured...if we make the Elite Eight, it could be the earlier game on Saturday OR on Sunday. There is only a 1/4 chance that, even IF we make the Elite Eight, this gets in the way. She wants to see Lewis Black. I am going to buy the tickets while letting her know she may need a friend in reserve to go with her.

Except...I really want to go to Lewis Black too.

The other solution is to scrap these, buy tickets for Sunday night, and drive up to Flagstaff. But I don't want to do that, either.

The wife is working from about 3-10 on Saturday. So IF we win Thursday I have all afternoon to cover any possible likely game time. I will sequester myself and create a shrine to the final 4 gods and surround myself with everything I need for 2-2.5 hours so I don't have to move.

edit: the tips on Saturday are 3:00 and 5:30

3 and 5:30 aren't bad. I just have to watch the game downtown if 5:30. Show is at 8pm at Comerica

My plan:

"Hey hon, why don't you go get a mani-pedi and a massage? Here's a gift certificate to your favorite spa."

"Hey kids, why don't you see if the neighborhood kids are home?"

*locks doors
*closes blinds
*turns off phone
*snuggles up with nachos

You have a crazy memory. This is totally true and the weird thing is, I am basically an introvert and I actually much prefer watching games by myself at my house. Which leads me to an important topic:

Why I hate watching AZ games with other people (especially random people):

#1 There is nothing more annoying than to watch an important AZ game with non hardcore fans who insist on asking me questions like "Are we rooting for the team in red? Why do you get to take free throws for some fouls but not all fouls? What's that guy's name? Is he any good? Etc... I want to kill these people.

#2. I want free rein to yell, scream, swear, clap and act like a moron during the game. I can't do this when I'm in a social situation.

I am pretty much like you, Alieberman. Spot on post, as far as I'm concerned. My son's friend (their 16 yrs old) was over at our house Saturday, as was my 6 year old granddaughter. They got a kick out of me and my "excitement", if you will, during the St. Mary's game. I was a bit loud at times. On both ends of the happy/pissed spectrum.

This. It drives my wife nuts that I cannot be social, as we know a number of Cats fans who have offered to have a gathering for games. But they are casuals. They do things like say "Oh well...it was a good season" when we lose, or invite ASU friends to the same party, or criticize the coach for not doing more of that thing where you make the ball go in the basket, or whatever. And, while I am a rather social person and outgoing (too outgoing, some would say), I. Cannot. Hold. My. Tongue when the Cats are playing and people say stupid shit.

An old friend of my wife's came to stay with us during March Madness 2011. That included the horrible start against Memphis, the insane win over Texas, crushing Duke, and losing to UConn on a last-second miss to miss the Final Four. She told my wife that I seemed like an intense and distracted person who's too wrapped up in sports. Can I please be judged during any other time of year?

Oh, man...the trucks would have come for me during the Texas game. My wife still laughs about how I hunkered down in the little area behind our sectional in the hallway and kept walking in circles, ducking down the hallway when I was too mad, muttering "I can't believe we are going to fucking lose this game. Doesn't anyone on the court care? How the fuck can you not care at this time of year? Seriously, what the..." and so on (yes, I like the F word...I am going to hell).

Then, at the moment when the "And-One" happened, sprinting in front of the TV and screaming some mix of noise and words, then just slumping to the ground and saying "I can't believe we are going to win this game...I can't believe it...." over and over.

My closest friend came over to my house during the Oklahoma State game in 2005. He will never come back during a game. And we WON that game.
