It means that bWill knows that puff is reclassifying and going to u of a on his own dime as a walk on, duh.

If the eyes were angled up, well that's totally different.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

I’m hearing there’s finally some good news related to Brandon Williams but don’t know details. Anyone?

Unless he got a new diagnosis I wouldn't get your hopes up. Plus we're Arizona, we are never bound to get good news. In all seriousness I haven't heard anything, but you never know.

Not sure if that’s peculiar or entirely unsurprising.

Again: there’s been absolutely nothing reported - officially - about BW’s status for 2019-20 being questionable. He’s expected to play.

I know nothing, but they could just be keeping him on an athletic scholarship as long as they can until they need it. I imagine it's a bit better than an academic scholarship which he will get if he retires medically. At least now he can travel and eat with the team and such.

I'd give him every chance if I was the coaching staff unless someone else presented himself and you really know BWill can't go. Why?

1. He is really good if able to play. He found himself in Pac play, and you're not getting that from any of our other options.
2. He committed here when he could have chosen Oregon or Zaga. That deserves us giving him a chance.
3. A kid his age...it hurts me to think of his career being over. I lost a basketball career at rhe same age due to lack of talent, and it hurt. I can't imagine what it feels like for a guy like Ray Smith or BWill when the body won't cooperate when NBA level talent is there.

Okay, well, if you’re willing to put it this definitively, without even a smidgeon of doubt, I’m happy to defer.

It sucks. BW seems like a good dude, and I’m sure he’s devastated by not being able to continue playing.

Yeah, I loved that article. Very interesting about what he thinks is the most likely suspension for Miller as well...I tend to agree with him, as long as the NCAA isn't out for blood.

I figured a suspension was always in the cards, but I pegged it for the 2020-2021 season. I guess we'll see.

Cool story on Josh. I feel with all the Nico hype and more recently all the Zeke praise, Josh has kind of been in the background of my mind.

"I just want to be more aggressive, make sure I become a defensive player. One of my goals is to be the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year this year. Obviously defense leads to team accolades, and then the individual accolades come."

This quote sounds like it was pulled right out of Sean's mouth and I love it.

Green's motor and defensive potential is a tremendous asset for next year. We've had so so wing D for a few years now since Rondae left. Green has tremendous length and athleticism and seems genuinely interested in maximizing his defensive ability.

I also love Green's quotes at the end of the article....love that he has a chip on his shoulder. Feels like a lot of guys on this team have that kind of mentality, and it will be really refreshing to see that.

For one thing, they can’t announce it because they can’t disclose a health issue. Only the student athlete can. For another thing, very few people even care, so there’s hardly any point.

Who knows. I trust Choo more than I do vague social media posts, so it probably is meaningless. We probably won't know anything definitively until right before the season starts. That's when there will be a formal announcement that he will not be playing this season or maybe ever again.
