Got one at a costco in Tucson a year or so back, think I paid $40 for it, so this is a good deal.

Strange, I guess a popup and it says free shipping no minimum purchase needed. Ordered a couple and didn't pay for shipping.

I just bought a 'Studebaker' brand record cleaner, and the thought came to mind if there are any Avanti's in Australia.

A google search brought this up as the first response.

If you are interested in Arizona gear, I recommend you review the photos. If you decide its the one missing piece of your U of A man cave next to the garage, look me up when you come out to pick it up.

I have the Tommy Bahama one that went for like $170 in the UofA store.

My daughter found it at Goodwill or Plato's Closet with tags still on it and gave it to me for Xmas.

Opposite of 2004-2007. Baggiest, lowest pants (Dickies etc) and tightest shirts for guys. Now it's short and tight shorts and baggy shirts that are in.

When I make my annual trip to Tucson I hit up the Goodwill stores looking for UA clothing. 4th Ave Goodwill is my favorite. Actually ran into a Goazcats member working there. "Hey, aren't you Merkin?" when I was checking out. Drawing a blank who it was now.

At one of the Goodwills, bought some Final Four t-shirts brand new.

I noticed something: If you look closely at some of the street signs, you can see that they were originally painted as "Wilmont" and then had to get redone.

Why?

Because everyone pronounces it "Wilmont".

Why?

Because the human mouth can't even say it without an 'n' if you try. The only way out is to say "Wilmut", at which point everyone says, "Wilmont!"

But do I qualify as a T-Loc myself now since I've been here for close to half my life?

The correct pronunciation for DM is Davis - Mon-tan. Good luck getting anyone to say it that way.

When you've been here long enough to pronounce it with the missing "n" then you qualify.

I have never. Literally never. Heard someone pronounce it without the "h". Not even people in the service who live/work there.

The foundations of English language understanding have been shaken with this revelation.
