Just a wild ass guess, but maybe having a student visa he actually performed some work for his NIL money.

And like one of the comments said, twice the punishment Bill Self received.

Perception. Scheer seems to know it’s BS abd he took ESPIN to the mat. Why not change tge narrative.

Or maybe this isn’t an institution driven penalty and if do the program could mention this penalty was not driven by the program but rather the individual

Wilner put out some snarky comment about it, naturally. One of the aspects I enjoy about the collapse of the Pac-12 is that some leeches are now in life rafts. Instead of BS-ing his way though every aspect of the Pac-12 while getting paid syndication rights for a column that included rank speculation on media contracts and high finance from the "nerve center" of San Jose, CA, next year he can see how much people in Raleigh, NC care about his San Jose take on their ACC. Sure don't see why the LA, Seattle, or Portland markets will care about his takes on the Big Ten. Maybe he can co-write a book about the San Jose St QB and his experiences in the MWC. Or how Herb Sendek's doing at Santa Clara. Or maybe some project with Ted Robinson...that's the ticket.

Story I just saw on Faceache was that Kriisa sold his 23-24 UA season ticket allocation before he transferred. Then he transferred which invalidated the tickets. When the purchaser asked for his money back, Kerr couldn't or wouldn't refund it.

Nothing to do with UA or WV what-so-ever, but Kriisa is being flamed as a 'scammer'.

Because there is a certain number of fans who just NEED to run down former or current players. You will see it on this site if Calib has a bad game or shoots to much. I guess it just makes them feel better. These players, I assume, always try their best and for that and the countless hours they give to the university earn our respect or at the very least our silence.

I think CTL was speaking to the obvious skills and physical differences of this years backcourt from last year's...

I think Arizona fan @superfly247365 was going for laughs, but I could be wrong.

If you've read my posts since Kerr was here, you'd know I am one of his biggest fans, was very disappointed when he left, and was skeptical of the transfers (Love & Bradley) when they came.

And, all of that being the case, I am thrilled by their performances this week, as well as KJ's, and begrudgingly will now admit that we are way better off than I had feared.

BTW, I'm still gonna follow, and root for, Kerr at WVU!

Just the facts, please! (And, OK, a few laughs too!)

The announcers during the Morgan State game made a similar comment on Kriisa and Ramey and lack of 2 point baskets.

I am pretty sure that every single one of us here would have liked those two to drive to the basket more instead of hanging out on the perimeter.

We saw what happens when guards aren't afraid to drive. Look how well Filip B started playing when he started driving since his 3 point shot wasn't falling.

I watched the Dartmouth/Duke highlights, and watch out easy Nescovic drives to the basket on Duke. Also what poor defense Dartmouth has.

It definitely allowed defenses to focus on closing out on three point shooters and taking away interior passing lanes.

Driving the ball to the basket gives defenses a third thing they need to account for. We were lacking that ability to put them on their heels when Kriisa was in the game. I loved the dude, but his game was one-dimensional.

Agree with Chicat but also that one dimension got Ramey probably the biggest basket of our season last year. I think Bradley is fairly one dimensional also. Love is just a scorer and can do it any which way.

West Virginia lost to Radford 66-65 last night. Kriisa played 37 minutes and scored 3 points. He shot 1-4 from the field, making 1 of 3 from the 3-point line. He had 6 assists and 4 turnovers.

Please tell me we are not going to post every Kriisa game stat line this year. I mean I appreciate what he tried to do while at Arizona but there is ZERO remorse that he's gone. Our guard line-up this year is a 1000X better.

Wish him nothing but the best.
