Raggedy first quarter. Overall our offense looks solid. We are getting some good looks. Defense has had some holes though. Glad the coaches get game film to teach from this early in the season.

Better second quarter defensively. We started jumping passing lanes and switching 1-5 but Anderson missed a couple of switches that led to easy looks at the rim.

Not better offensively. Lebanon crowded the lane and crashed the boards. Gotta give them credit.

KJ Lewis is definitely Tucson good. Last year we kind of knew what we were getting with Zu & Krisa but this years team is going to surprise some folks. Tommy has plenty of pieces to put together a good 9-10 man rotation

There’s certainly plenty for our guys to work on, like the lack of a consistent 3 and letting Lebanon back in near the end. Glad we were able to pull it out to a more comfortable lead at the end.

Good trip overall, and now the long wait for the season to begin resumes.

KJ Lewis was amazing this game. I feel like the only person who has acknowledged how good KJ is at basketball.

Filip might be the best passer on the team. He doesn't have the ability to create like the guards do so he doesn't get to show it as often but on just passing ability I think it is between him and Jaden.

Pelle Larsson had 17 points, Keshad Johnson went for 14 points with seven rebounds and three assists, Caleb Love added 13 and KJ Lewis had 12 for the Wildcats. The UA shot 43.2 percent overall, 28 percent from 3, but made up for it by outrebounding Lebanon 42-28 and outscoring a team full of professionals 44-30 in the paint.

I hope Love doesn’t go hunting shots this year. He just needs to stick to what he does well.

I also hope CTL has the balls to sit him if he plays hero ball and takes bad shots.
