I agree but based on his ranking, his chances of making the league are slim. Based on him being 6'0 180lbs and running a 4.58 forty his chances are slimmer

I wonder how these recruits feel come Thursday when everyone stops caling and they are at the bottom again

I wonder how they feel when they commit to a really big time program and hit the field the first time and realize everyone in front of him is a four or five star and he isn't going to see the light of day for three years if even then.

this kid also had an offer from Michigan State which he completely moved off the table. Who knows what it is he's looking for. Hopefully warmer weather.

Let's hope. But, honestly when I found out he has been lying about the offers he received, decommited and hearing Scheer say that if Allen didn't commit to AZ he was not sure what other options Allen had other than walk-on to other programs, that painted a different potential picture. For me.

That just threw a curve ball to me. I would assume other programs backed off with the "industry" common knowledge Allen fabricating stuff. I'm assuming that info is true. Allen has a chance and a chance to thrive to prove it on the field and with his demeanor.

For every McAlister or Pierce, there are at least 10 Holmes. Let's remember that.

I'd love to see a stat on it, but I'd guess that the rate of failure for highly touted JC players is significantly higher than that of 4*s out of high school.

If we get Ulloa, which it appears we are I will be OK with the class. I would still be more on the disappointed side then the happy side, but I have been reserved to the fact that this years class will not be the class we were led to believe it would be after winning the south last year. Now if ASU is able to snag Murphy I will be very unhappy with this class....yes my thoughts on this class do tie directly to my thoughts on the ASU class.

OK St has made an appearance on his re tweets as well as Arkansas. Arizona leads if we are going off a re tweets the last week though. I will also say whoever is sending him the images for U of A is a lot better than their counterpart at Oregon.

You guys bring two guys, both highly recruited High School players, one of which would have gone to UCLA if not for them saying he cheated on the SATS right before school started, went to a JC for a year then transferred immediately to Arizona, and the other who started at Florida, was kicked off the team and played one year at a JC where he DOMINATED the JC ranks and then went back to the SEC.

Josh Allen looked like he was lightly recruited out of high school, probably didn't have great grades. He also was only second team all conference in his only year at Long Beach CC. London Iakopo was First Team All Conference and First team all State for Region III to put it into perspective. London also was only recruited out of high school as a preferred walk on to Arizona.

Can a JC player be a cornerstone player, it is rare but it happens. Is Josh Allen that cornerstone, the chances are very very very slim.

Does that leave us three more spots? Two with Ulloa?

Im pretty sure this shuts the door for Hemphill. We have three good looking LB's coming into program that may potentially run a system with only two LB's, I am hoping we close out this class with Bundage and Ulloa at this point. That would be a hell of a class based off how we were looking just last week.

Getting Allen and Chacho on board are huge... And Cochrane appears to be a very nice pickup.

If we could get Bundage as well, this would be a excellent finish to this class.

Any word on Cooper? I was thinking Hemphill might have some flexibility, maybe as a spur or a speed rush end if he got a bit bigger

I thought the same on Hemphill. Think Cochran will likely move to DE with his size. Multiple fronts might bring him in from lb position in 3-3-5, like Turturi and Scooby would do. Definite spur potential. From what I'm reading and despite the tweets from him, don't think Bundage is happening, and with Chacho likely, that doesn't leave much room unless Cooper leaves.
