I was eating Honey nut Cheerios and watching your RB on the screen and all I could think about was how much he is like Sonic The Hedgehog.

That OKState game was a fun game in person. We were clearly undersized on the defensive line in that game. OKState had a 300+ Oline. But, our dl maneuvered right around them all game and got pressure on their young qb. He ended up transferring out (but not at halftime.)

There is some truth in what you say, our basketball Natties may not be 'official' but the trophies are real. We didn't give Romar tenure for nothing

And I hope the Cats smack the shit out of the Huskies.

What is doog and why do posters use it incessantly?

Hey, the Huskies should be favorites. I have some hope with this being UW's first test and a home game for us, but I'm not exactly too optimistic.

Since it's a new season, always hopeful for a W tonight. But we probably had our worst game of the season last year against UW, late in the second half was about the only time all season the team kinda look like it gave up, which is very rare for any UA team to do. But another 55-3 type boatrace tonight would be a real stinger, though.

We've got some new weapons to deploy this go around, plus the home crowd. And also hoping JJ doesn't catch one squarely on the shoulder tonight vs. their big line or backers, those little guys can get their shoulder jacked up real good, like how USC did it to our little backs all the time over the past decade...they were a pretty dirty team anyway. JJ just needs to be slippery around the tackle.

I just hope that RRod doesn't show his stubborn streak.

If that Cats are not able to run the ball after 3 or 4 series and it becomes obvious that we are going to have to throw the ball downfield then he needs to ditch the zone read and play a classic pro-set. Faking the ball to the running back will only give the UW lineman that much more time to get into the backfield and kill Anu/Dawkins. Our QB will need to take the snap and immediately try to get rid of the ball................not kill precious time by faking a handoff. RRod may also wish to take a lesson from Dick Tomeys playbook and play slow ball. Handing the ball back to UW over and over again after quick 3 and outs will only result in another 56-0 UW blowout that we have seen so many times since joining the PAC12

Damn, that was a promising performance, but any good feelings we might have been able to take away are dashed by JJ's ankle.

These guys found something tonight. They weren't afraid of UW at all. The defense got some stops including on short fields. There were mistakes, they had trouble with the run, but the defense gave the team a chance to win tonight. We'll see what we get against UCLA, but it looks like they are believing in themselves. Play with confidence and attack and you've got a puncher's chance.

I am not sure who should be more disappointed? UDUB as they beat a team featuring two defensive line starters and a second string QB and at the end, it's 4th string RB or AZ who when it needed it's most important defensive stops of the season gives up a game losing FG to BYU and a 4th quarter TD after scoring less than a minute earlier. Then after tieing it, you give up an easy OT TD.

So I went to the game and have a couple comments

1. Sat in East Section 100's with the new seats. Seats were nice and honestly the stadium looks so much better now except one thing...lighting in the walkways. It has been some time since I have been to the west side but I do not think the east side needs a major overhaul at all. Concessions were fine, bathrooms were fine outside of the weird sinks you need to step on, and getting in and out of Gate 8 to our section was very easy. The big screen is fantastic, found myself watching that most of the time as is the new screen they added. Also was super easy to walk over to the new North End Zone area where concessions and restrooms are nice too. In my opinion the major thing needed is more lighting as the north end zone area has tons of light where as the east side has so little its pathetic and weird. Outside of some fresh paint, I dont think they need waste any money there. Did not get a chance to go to the south or west side but I east side was totally fine.

2. Dawkins will be a good QB for us. His INT was an awful throw but the guy seems like a Rich rod QB for sure

3. JJ will be special and really sucks he got hurt. He might not have the size to last at this level.

4. Shun Brown also looked good

5. Davonte Neal sucks

6. Kicker is great but the rest of special teams is still a disaster

7. Can we not find a center who can hike the ball?

8. UW fans were douchebags

9. U of A girls are not as cute as they once were. Also, they were these god awful cut off mom jeans. Who told them those look hot? What happened to the U of A butt shorts? 100% of the time those worked every time.

10. Mark is still at dirtbags god love him

To be fair he will be fine. Its only cause of that douche diving at his ankle at the end of the play that he got hurt. Other than that he might as well be a greased pig.

Very cordial in my area

Agreed, high waisted shorts are the worst, I don't understand anyone that can find them attractive. I have PTSD flashbacks of some teachers at Sabino that wore those types of jeans.
