So Trevor Wood still has another year of eligibility?
I'm liking him on the Dline.
Boles, Wilburn, and Wood I like on the line.
Any word on how My King Johnson and the legacy kid have been doing in practice?
Any opinions on the incoming dline recruits? I like the size but do they have the skills to use it to there advantage. I really hope they actually get developed by the staff but RR has a bad record on that. I hope RR can keep his hands off them and let the Dstaff take care of them.

Yeah without Tate I don't see us maintaining more than 60% capacity. As a good fan I definitely will not be investing my time and money in a program coached by Rich.

This team has the talent to win 9 games next year eapcially with Tate but RR is holding them back. He's just not head coach material and is past his prime. If he wasn't so stubborn and still willing to learn he would make a great OC and would be good to pair him up with a young up and comer offensive mind but he's just to far gone in his ways. I don't see him lasting past 2018. I'm also ready to move on from the OC and the ST coach. RR needs to also keep his hands of the Special Teams in the future. His loving of low hang time kicks is screwing up the kickers developement themselves I believe.

After watching the PAC-12 bowl games it's crystal clear to me that we need to get much bigger, stronger, and tougher on both sides of the line.

Hopefully Lukusa and Sione will be contributers at both near 330lbs, think PJ is well over 300 as well. Agreed, though.

RR went 5-4 in P12 play this year. An improvement from 1-8 last year. I don't love him but that deserves one more year. He improves, keep him. No improvement, fire him. That simple.

I think we are pretty much unanimous on that, just no extension.

An injury to Tate and the season will be a disaster. Tate stays healthy, might be a good year if defense and special teams can improve.

Worst net punting in the nation for FBS teams. Total defense 118th out of 129.

Can't even remember when UA FB total defense was not in the bottom 25.

November 25, 2018, you either need either fire or extend RR by that date. Cannot have a coach with one year left on his deal.

He wont do neither of it. Because RR contract end at 5/31/2020. Then what about the staff contract? How long do you think they have left.

No chance Tate leaves. He is a super hot player who will be on the Heisman list. Why have to sit out a year and disappear?

I’d hang tight and see how this coaching search goes.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Have a hard time believing anyone of significance would leave if Yates is retained. Or if it’s a high profile replacement.

This was kind of my thought. Like them having calls with Heeke. Go ahead, leave for the next two years. Rebuilding anyway.

She's a senior, so I imagine she will finish out her degree program, just not on the cheer squad.

Just too embarrassing when you dad is an admitted adulterer.

I wonder if Rhett will give Cal Poly a look? Not sure how good a runner he is, they run the triple option.

Both starters. One is gone as far as I know, the other one is just about gone. One would be a big impact and it’s not Tate.

I would expect TE Wolma to leave. Rhett's closest friend. Would expect him to go back to the midwest. He's gonna be a good one. You would think these guys would wait just a few days to see who the next coach is.

With classes starting Wednesday, I'm guessing some kids want to get transferred in time for spring classes elsewhere. They'd have to redshirt anyways but I would assume it's just less hassle to not start classes. Also, if they don't attend any classes, I would think we can open the scholies for gray shirts or early enrollees so they count for last year's class.

Anyone that's currently on the team that wants to leave or is leaving seems like an utterly moronic move to me.

Why in the hell would you want start over unless you just can't stand Tucson or the school anymore.

Football is football wherever you go.

I get leaving if you don't fit the new coach's system, but Dave Heeke doesn't even know who the new coach is at this point. Anybody outside of Wolma who is leaning towards leaving at this point is certainly dumb.

It's been mentioned that Wolma and Rhett Rodriguez are best friends.

I understand that, and I think it would be a poor reason to jump ship prematurely. Rhett is untalented and has little future as a college football player. RichRod has less future as a college football coach for obvious reasons. What would be Wolma's football trajectory should he jump ship to maintain his friendship? Dumb move.

Wolma only came to Arizona cause of Rich and Rhett and he's from Michigan. Zero reason to stay at Arizona now since he won't be with "extended family."

Even though he got significant playing time as a true freshman and appears to have a bright future here? Has he not made other friends? Has he not become comfortable at UA? Would he have a bright football future elsewhere? Perhaps, but he should abandon any idea of hitching his wagon to the Rodriquez star because it died. The vast majority of scholarship college football players have cut the umbilical cord of family, extended or otherwise, to pursue a future. I hope Wolma thinks beyond his *original* reason for coming to UA.

Assuming Wolma was home during the break, the weather back there last week didn't get out of the teens.

Going to be 80 today in Tucson.
