Just stop with this tired old CEO bullshit. Tomey would be a poor man's Herm Edwards. Just hire a coach who will COACH
You understand the coordinators COACH, right?

And he would be a poor mans Herm, but he'd be paid that way too so we can get ELITE COACHES at the coordinator spots.

If we do it YOUR WAY, we end up with Navy's coach (until he turns us down) and then end up with Rocky Long. Fuck. that. route.

The local guys are still saying no, but this is what I was alluding to yesterday. Heard it was a matter of time and booster commitment.

These "leaks" were probably well planned to get donors to pony up to fund Sumlin's assistants.

That SEC article I quoted was Gil Brandt's declaration. So far that is the only person who said anything.

Just wait it out guys. I don’t think it would smart to make an official announcement until after the NFL playoff games. Just an idea. They’d probably want it to resound and reverberate.

Of COURSE I know that coordinators and position coaches coach. But you keep wanting a head COACH who doesn't coach at all, Which, to me, is stupid. And I have posted in this thread that I did NOT want to see Navy's coach here. I want to see a head coach who will actually COACH, though.

If true this is probably the best scenario we could've hoped for and is certainly 10x an upgrade over RR. Well worth firing him. Now Sumlin needs to recruit recruit recruit.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.
