You know it is possible to understand why a game is scheduled for a certain time and still be disappointed right?

It's already guaranteed that at least 7 of our first 10 games will have a 7-8pm kickoff. That's just shitty even for someone who lives in Arizona.

If UCLA loses at Cal this week how many will show up to the Rose Bowl? The announced attendance for the Washington game was 51000. Machina should really be harping on UCLA fans for their attendance. A 730 kick-off with a 0-6 UCLA against a 4-3/3-4 Arizona will draw like 40k with 20% being Arizona fans.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.

i'll just go with fuck asu.

Let hope UCLA doesn't get their first win of the season against UA. Boy that will bring tear to my eye.

Its homecoming and it will likely be a lot of free tickets given to the college bound program likely.

I'm thinking we find ourselves vs Cal. Or not, who knows

Or hear me out . . . You’ve already found yourselves? :ugeek:

Please don’t “find yourselves” . . . we need the UCLA ineptitude to remind us that things could always be worse. And you guys get to comfort yourselves with the fact that your players can still beat ours in a competitive game of Scrabble.

I’ll be meeting up with my best friend from residency in SF. You know I ain’t giving a shit about watching this game.

Then I have trunk or treat at the church the following week. Its a good event with three food trucks and band and a parents area. And our church is liberal wth the booze at these functions. you know, Catholics...

So I’m out the next two.

Defensively we've look good of late. Offense is starting to come around. We've found a RB, the OL unit has been improved once we got our center back from a 3 game suspension, and DTR is starting to feel comfortable keeping the ball on the zone read. That being said, Cal is garbage, so who knows how we actually are.

I expect UCLA to continue with the winning mojo, and pick up their second win this weekend.

This will finally bring to a gut wrenching reality of anyone that was on the fence about the subject, that Arizona football has completely hit rock bottom with it stunning lack of talent.

With the exception of AssU and that end of years coin-flip, I expect every other team on our schedule to use us a week-day scrimmage and plunder our ass in humiliating fashion.

The coming off-season and recruiting priorities and direction of this program is going to be a defining moment in time for this cluster-fuck to find balance and be able to heal.

Everything on this staffs radar better start with the trenches on both the O/L and D/L. This program ain't going anywhere fast until this O/L, D/L shit-storm is addressed and I do mean priority #1, #2 and #3.

I'm talking about a massive move to shore up these pathetic undermanned areas with 8-10 D/L and O/L combined recruits in each class brought in, in each of the next two years just for starters.

I have to agree with Gladiator Cat on the need for immediate OL and DL help. And some of those recruits need to be from the JC ranks for us to be competitive next year.

Well, we're pretty bad too, so it should be a good chance for you guys.

I'm getting a good feeling about this game.

Probably means we lose by 30.

my issue with last night's game was not goign for it on 4th and instead putting it in the hands of the D.

I'd rather have gone for it on 4th, and then if we dont get it, the D in the same position it would be with the FG. Needing a stop.

But overall, a much better game than most expected I think.
