Separates the good teams from the bad when someone goes down and there is no drop off with the next in line.
The point is the quantity of this class will not prevent them from adding quality for the first time since....ever, thanks to the elimination of the 25 man class limit. They're basically trying to replace the Sumlin level guys who have already left/been forced out with either guys who are ready to contribute ASAP or guys that they like that they intend to develop. They don't have many developmental guys on the roster at the moment.
But aren't we already at the 85 limit with less than a dozen seniors? Sounds like some guys will need to be chased out to me, but maybe I am wrong and we are closer to 75 at the moment.

I was watching a 2016 game against Nevada and our down lineman looked so small back then. We did look great on offense though

One thing that I've noticed: Most of the highest rated commits played a decent amount against SDSU. Tetairoa, Sterling Lane, Speedy Luke etc.

I root for all of our Wildcat commits equally, but here is my question: How does the makeup of this class look compared to last years? I absolutely believe in star rankings and offer lists. Some of the guys committed feel a little G5ish to me.

Additionally, are there any 4/5 star types in the crosshairs for this staff?

Over on Scheer's site someone mentioned there's 3 silent commits. Two 4 stars and 1 high 3 star.

Mostly all three stars that are high 3 star guys with multiple P5 offers. One 4 star guy which is the QB. Supposedly 3 silent commits and many think the best recruits will be on the O Line. Have heard people say it will be a top 30 class and top 20 if we bowl

I would expect this recruiting class to be not as good as last years, which is understandable, but much better than the classes we were accustomed to seeing the last decade prior. If we have a good season I have a heard time not believing in this staff to capitalize on that and add some late big names. The three biggest names we are going hard after (all 4 stars) and in a good place with are Caleb Lomu (OL), Leviticus Su’a (LB) and Iapani Laloulu (OL)

I remember Winger over at TOS doing an analysis that since there are so few 5 and 4 stars that what is really important for a school like Arizona is to make sure the 3 stars are at the top of the 3 star rankings. Good to hear 49.

I'm sure our class this year won't match last year's but I'm eondering what highly rated recruits or studs we might be after, especially defensively. We are in need of another under the radar LB star like Scooby.

Big time Mike LB Su’a from Mater Dei (4star) is deciding between Stanford and us with Fisch handling his recruitment personally.

Not sure of anyone else they are looking at but you have to think from here on out in the 23 class they would all be on defense or Offensive lineman

With his brother already at Oregon, the minute he got that offer he was going to commit.

He never committed to us but no doubt we wanted him. Lomu is our #1 target on that Line
