Made the final list for James Foster...not sure how much of a chance we have for him, but you have to think Tate’s success has something to do with it. Impressive offer sheet for those of you that gets off on that.

I think UCLA recruits will be harder to get with Kelly than Mora.

Same with ASsU if they really get Sumlin.

This. Chip pulled great talent away from California and Texas while at Eugene. Westwood is a much easier sell than Eugene. I don’t foresee any dropoff on his west coast recruiting, quite the opposite actually. This is not a good thing by the way.....

It's not a good thing for us hoping to beat UCLA, consistently or otherwise, but because UCLA and SC recruit on such a higher stage it shouldn't relate to UA's recruiting as much as it's easy to blame. For instance, UA's DL isn't under-manned/developed/sized because UCLA & SC severely out-recruits us for quality DL. They aren't to blame; the DL problems are all on the coaches just flat out not replenishing those positions with enough decent players, dating back to 2010. It shouldn't be the all-or-nothing problem it often gets made out to be. It's more of problem of not finding and working with the middle ground. While UCLA lands star prospects like Eddie Vanderdoes, our coaches should've been working on signing the many (PLENTY!) of DL that are second tier but very serviceable, and it's like the coaches don't care to try.

If ucla gets chip, it's even more reason to can RR since OKGs arnt going to cut it.

We won't get ucla level talent but at least get some one in who is less of a dead fish in the recruiting energy department.

Pretty sure he was the first casualty of Chip's regime. Huffman said that he lost 30 pounds to lean out some more and Chip needs a nose tackle. I'm assuming the replacement is Noah Jefferson

This is exactly what I wanted to point out. Can someone email RichRod and let him know a guy we offered at a position of severe need is back on the market?

Notice the UA roster outlook is listed as ZERO for his position. Meanwhile we have 17 WRs on scholarship.

My point is not whether he is a flipper or not, it is the lack of awareness he has to even mention it. Really no reason to stay "committed" if you are considering flipping to the rival. Some of these kids are clueless.

Yeah it's been common knowledge certainly, but I suppose the question is does he want to be a Quarterback or is he open to playing other positions? If he wants to play another position then certainly I can't blame him, but if he wants to be a QB he'd be a schmuck to play for anyone he's considering not named Rich Rodriguez. Now if he believes that Rich won't be in Tucson for much longer fair enough, but if he honestly thinks he's going to play QB at any other school on his current list (especially ASU) then all I can say is good luck kid.

Either way I recall Ka'Deem being relatively flirty with ASU whilst committed to U of A as well even so far as taking a visit to ASU, wearing a jersey, and flashing the shocker. That worked out in the end, so no reason to throw stones at this kid until every thing is written in stone.

Definitely not a way to endear yourself to the caring fanbase, especially when you're a local kid.

I believe he’s best friends with one of the other D Line recruits. I believe there is another D line prospect from the group as well.

Ok well that only furthers my point. Whoever we're losing will result in a big fat meh unless it's Yates solely due to the scheme impact that would have.
