Everyone thinks Noah fivefeeta is the franchise, but Pac 12 isn't high school. I guess Fisch needs to get shotgun happy so this guy can see where to throw.
In any case, I think we need a QB bridge and bringing in a one and done probably won't make him transfer.

We owe Noah for recruiting this class for us.

I just learned that Kyler Murray is also 5-10. I take back worries about his height.

Doug Flutie was 5-10.

This would be another great pickup. 247 has him going to Louisville. Hope your source is solid.

Kinda weird. 247 shows him 80/20 Louisville/Arizona while Rivals has him 100% Arizona.

There's two picks for Louisville and 1 for Arizona.

The Arizona pick came today while the Louisville picks are 10 days old a minimum. The Arizona pick came from the 247 director of football recruiting while the others are from a USC and Boise St sites.

What areas do we need to hit hardest in the transfer portal? My understanding is we can take 7 transfers one of which is going to the UCLA S Warnell. I still think our biggest need is Pac12 ready OL and I would use two or three of those spots for them. I would only take a QB if it is an upperclassman who is proven (Slovis) to be an upgrade. That leaves three spots which I would use to try and add one more Safety, even though we return all our starters none of them were very impressive, and a LB (maybe Scott from USC).

Warnell is taking the 23rd spot in this class and we will bring in 6 or 7 guys. They do want to give Singer a scholarship so he might get one depending on how that stuff works

In my opinion we really need some big Mike LB’s. Roberts is coming back but he really isn’t a true inside guy. Martin is a good downhill guy but I am not sure he is fast enough and I think he eventually moves to the defensive line. We have Mojo Weerts who redshirted but Can’t think of anyone else

If that was the only thing in their favor, I think it would be the dumbest decision ever made by a kid who 5 months ago had hight first round NFL draft potential.

That said, considering it is a program who is sending a QB to the NFL draft that will likely be the first one taken, it makes perfect sense. But he won’t have long to get adjusted to Pittsburgh weather if he only wants to play one season, which is a far cry from Scottsdale or LA.

Perfectly okay with this. Give the rock to the kid and let him continue throwing to his best friends and new friends!

Just looking at what we now have at WR & TE gives me red zone wood…..

I think losing out/not pursuing Slovis is going to bite this team, with the QB room we have currently there is not way I see more than 2-3 wins next year (and that may be pushing it). I hope that does not take the wind out of what Jedd has been building in the offseason. He has exceeded my expectations both offseasons so far so he has earned some benefit of the doubt there I guess, but at some point I worry that talk can only go so far.

Landing Slovis would have been sort of a statement pick up. I hope Fisch has a plan for what seems to be a shaky QB roster. I see anywhere from 0 to 7 wins, meaning this team will be so different from 21's team, that record is of no use in prediction.

With Berryhill gone to the league, and underachievers Curry and Casteel entering the portal, there might be a spot. T-Mac will take over primary receiver role I imagine. Although Joiner and Singer will see a lot of reps.

If we add Cowing, we will have added a lot of play makers on that side of the ball. Hopefully we can find a QB capable of getting them the ball and an OL capable of giving them time to get open.

WR additions: Majon Wright, TMac, Greene, Jones, Cowing (possibly)
TE additions: Burnett, Powell
RB additions: Coleman
RB/Slot: Luke (likely)

I expect the freshman TMac, Greene and Luke to all play a large role in the offense next year and would not be surprised if the others do as well.

Echols? I am not to impressed with him if that is the case and I would be surprised if there were a lot of suiters for him but I guess Nansen is familiar with him. Hopefully the other is that Safety from Northwestern.

Echols was announced, he was a big name out of High School but never found a role at USC. USC does have a lot of talent so hopefully that is the reasoning for him not playing much, but not getting much play as a senior on a team that finished 103rd in points allowed does not paint a promising picture. Hopefully it was just because he was behind Drake Jackson and for some reason can not contribute anywhere else on the field.
