That sucks. From what I saw, he was given the opportunity, in the form of preseason playing time, to make the team.
Wishing you the best Scoob. I hope you get another chance. I've still never seen a defender dominate the way he did in his few games at UA.

Gerhard de Beer is getting signed to the Bills practice squad. Hell of a job by that young man.

Carson Wentz has a fractured bone in his back. Which means it’s Big Dick Nick Foles time to shine once again.
BTW, I just saw Nick has a $20M team option for next year and the Eagles will be $17-18M over the cap. So while you don’t want to see anyone get hurt, these last three games could be key to Foles getting a FA deal.

Chi - I always want him to do well but maybe not this week.

I’m rooting for him to throw for 400+ but lose by 20.

Haha - yeah I know what you mean.
Just hope he doesn't start another Philly run like last year on Sunday night.

Not a fan of the Eagles, but have been watching and enjoying Nick's wins.
NFL Winners and Losers: Nick Foles has had the strangest career in NFL history
I've been enjoying the civil wars on Eagles forums and sometimes helping to drive that wedge.
Having watched Nick since he became a Wildcat, it’s obvious to me that he thrives when there’s nothing expected of him.
Jettison Wentz and anoint Nick the starter and watch him be very hot or cold and your season go to shit. If he’s your backup though? No tears shed when the starter goes down in week 10.
Well, he should make some of that back beginning next season.

Zack sees Foles as the top free agent QB in a thin market, and outlines some of the cap implications of a trade and the $20M mutual contract option for next year.
The Bears are bringing in Nick Folk for a workout.

I'm actually kinda excited to see how good the AAF is. Players all get paid $75k a year with education stipends and free healthcare at least. Kickers aren't in the game either. No kickoffs, extra points or inside kicks in this league. Other than that I think the rules are the same, overtime might be different though.
