Very nice pick up. Wonder if they're looking into a red shirt for last year since he only played one game? Still has 2 to play with PAC12 experience and size we don't have.

From what I gathered, his transfer was because his girlfriend missed him/pregnant. I'm sure it'll come out flfrom insiders later. USC fans were high on him

Yeah this is a helluva score. Hopefully he gets another year, but if he has to sit out he will be a monster in 2018

I think they were high on him due to the fact they thought they had a sleeper pick discovered more than anything else.

He committed when he was an unknown and then blew up. I have no idea how he is, I'm just going by the feeling on the boards I've read over the past two years.

He kind of blew up after the USC offer a bit. Arizona even looked at him pretty hard. His problem was that he was a decent TE who also played LB. It wasn't till later that he moved full time to DL. So, coaches didn't really want to take a chance until later. So, you are correct for the most part, Bug.

Arizona football recruiting: 3-star OT David Watson verbally commits to Wildcats
Checking in at 6-foot-6 and 300 pounds, Watson is a large human being. Needless to say he is adding some much-needed size along the line.

"He's the kind of kid if you tell him that someone will match up well against him, he'll go out there and try to prove you wrong," Mendivil said. "He loves the competition."

I like what Watson brings to the Wildcats. He is quite fast for a human his size. He is extremely powerful and has a tenacity to his game. He has a knack for punching holes in the defense, allowing his running back to gain chunks of yards. He is still a little raw but has a large amount of upside.

Arizona needs large human beings. More so on the defense line. And it would be helpful if they're halfway mobile.

I like this part.
It prevents Football Bowl Subdivision schools from hiring people close to a prospective student-athlete for a two-year period before and after the student’s anticipated and actual enrollment at the school. This provision was adopted in men’s basketball in 2010 (effective immediately, though schools may honor contracts signed before Jan. 18, 2017).
There goes ASSu's recruiting model.

2018 Bishop Gorman DE Adam Plant commits. Good pick for Arizona. Raw and needs work but good motor and good upside. Other teams will try to poach him and this is an early commit so there could be trouble.

Plant comes from a proven program. Solid DL pickup for the Staff.

Wouldn't be the first time RichRod finds a diamond, gets some exposure, and takes off for a better program.

Really can't blame them, but too bad once they say "committed" they can sign.

If RR has another bad year and gets fired, I think a lot our commits will get poached. I think so many were stolen last year because other coaches were telling recruits that RR was going to be gone by the end of next year. If he has a good year and gets an extension a lot of that poaching will stop.

Wouldn't it be great if our staff could in turn do the same? Steal some of UCLA's and/or ASU's guys by making the valid case that their coach's days are numbered?

The coach's sporting eye black is more than enough reason to poach all that we can every year from the ruins. Hell, blow up a big picture of those fucking clowns wearing that shit and stick it on the damn walls of our recruiting offices for motivation!

Other offers from UNLV and Hawaii.

A commit from a position of low need, with no other offers from the P5. Tired of this.

It really doesn't matter because their still a lot of others prospects out their to get but if your going worry about a prospects with no offer of a power 5 team, Why the hell does that matter.

Seriously? An offer list tells us how people think of him. This guy screams mid major talent given two terrible programs are his only offers.

Wouldn't you be more impressed with him if he chose us over Bama, USC ,Ohio St and Clemson?

Ok so, BYU, Colorado, Colorado State, UNLV and Hawaii were this kids best offers and despite he verbal committed to UA. Were did the two come from.

Hell No I wouldn't be impress. In the end he would of choose those elite school over us.

We still have a lot of other prospect that has been offer by UA in the recruiting trail. Time will tell what this class will look like of the things we need.
