UCLA is dog shit. We're wildly inconsistent at best. I have no clue what will happen. We could win by 5 TDs or maybe lose by 5.

You have to think UCLA will beat someone, just hope its not us. Being on ESPN should help with the focus I would think

Must win game. You would like to think we can beat this UCLA team but it is really hard to feel confident in Arizona football.

Yup, next 2 games are must win if we want to build anything from last year to this.

Arizona is 1-6 last 6 games v. UCLA if memory serves and that one win was when Tate was just totally unreal in October.

Yup. 1-6 the last 7 years, 6-1 in the 7 years before that.

So what? UCLA through three games this year is one of the worst Power 5 teams I have ever seen and last year U of A would have won easily had Tate been the QB in that game. Rhett Rod should have won the game for fuck sake.

Two weeks to get ready for UCLA. UCLA has played worse than Arizona so far. Doesn’t mean Arizona can’t lose, because they can lose to just about anyone.

What's the stat on Sumlin after byes? Isn't it pretty bad comparatively

Yep, until you look at who it was against. Bama twice, LSU twice, Miss St.

Can't decide if the bye is good or bad. Rest, recovery and and more practice reps are good for whoever needs it, but it's also early in the season, we aren't that beat up that I'm aware of and I can't help thinking it would've been good to keep the momentum and rhythm going after the solid play last week. The scarred Wildcat fan in me fears regression rather than building on the success . . . Weird having the Week Zero bye and the second bye so early in the season.

UCLA is not good. I wish we were consistent, and then I'd feel good.

If we give a TTU level performance, we should win. Hawaii level performance, we could hand it to them. At a bare minimum, I think this game should show whether TTU was an aberration or an upwards trend.

Yea we got screwed with the byes as usual. Would have been much better to have between the Oregon schools for example.

Interesting reading on byes. If you have 14 days, that might help by 2.3 points.

15 days or more is 0.7 points.

We open as 7.5 pt favorites. Talk about two teams that you have no idea will show up and play to their abilities. Right now I would take those points and feel pretty darn good

I wouldn't touch this game in Vegas with a 10' pole.

As long as the Cats don't fumble the ball 4 times, I say they will will.

Heard our Tech game was a ESPIN rating success. Have to wonder if more will tune in to see if UCLA and Kelly have flipped the switch and see if this magic carpet ride will continue. I think we are in trouble

This is a game where either team wouldn’t be surprised by a blow out by either team or a close game.

I'm sure Yates isn't sleeping well this week thinking about Felton.

I think them winning in Pullman helps us...however, I'd take them and the points all day. 7.5 is too much.

Sorry, my fault, I picked him in RAP.

However, I also did pick Gunnell, so he will probably break the wrist on his throwing hand.

Also picked Brightwell, so look for a very long injury list after tonight's game.

Taylor and Tate BOTH out for our conference opener? And after a BYE week?

Just how fragile are these players? Do they need to be baby-proofed or walk around in bubble wrap?

Nick Wilson was a ball of injuries from repeated in-game contact. Tate and Taylor, I think, are just poorly conditioned.

yeah I was a little bit. Kinda surprising we aren't comfortable/capable of going up under center for 3 snaps to kneel down and win.

Especially with a true freshman QB in his first start.

I wouldn't have minded if Tate went out there, or RhettRod, but then again you don't want to destroy GG's confidence.
