We need to put 9 in the box because they are going to run it right at us

Slight correction if we are going to have any chance of winning.

This is the only game on the schedule that I thought we had literally zero chance of winning.

Lots of injuries. QB may still be out. Top RB and TE are probably out. I know a few more as well. I think we cover the line and keep
It within 10 points

That just makes no sense. Should we just blindly say we are going to roll? Fans can’t be objective about a game?

100-0 then we win. Our defense doesn’t give up a first down and Utah sets a record for punts. We score on 1 play every possession. Every guy that scores is untouched.

Is that better? Is that winner talk?

Objective thoughts are great. Thinking k the Cats lose is fine.
Saying they have no chance is loser talk

In notable games for Utah, they lost at Florida and at UCLA, beat USC at home, and they're coming off a tough win at WSU. The biggest issue is they had a lot of people go down in the WSU game, so it remains to be seen how healthy they are for our game. On offense, QB Cameron Rising and RB Tavion Thomas didn’t play, and TE Dalton Kincaid and WR Brant Kuithe were banged up. Defensively, S R.J. Hubert was ejected for targeting, and he’ll miss the first half of our game. Typically with a Kyle Whittingham team, you’d figure, even if they’re a little sub-par on offense, the defense would be able to shut you down. But, they only start three upperclassmen on defense, and they’re giving up 26 PPG in conference play. So, they’ve been relying on their offense somewhat, with a composite league score of 34-26. Note that this is while playing both LA schools, Oregon St, and the tough roadie at WSU, in addition to their road game at ASU. I’m not saying I’m particularly optimistic, just that circumstances may keep the score a little closer than it otherwise might be. Meanwhile, the initial spread is bigger than for USC, which I guess figures as it’s a road game instead of a home game and Utah beat USC.

Conditions look dreadful for Saturday. Has to be an advantage to their running game. Just have to man up and bring it
