There is a one second pause with The Athletic, so you can select all text (control A), copy all (control C), paste into Notepad, Word or whatever (Control V) and read it.

All Windows commands of course.

Great article about Noah Fifita and what makes him special. I have a promotional subscription to the NYT and The Athletic is included. The gist is everything has to be in its place. Nothing can be out of order. That is what makes him special. It is premium content, but worth the read. You might find special promotions on the Athletic. Great article.

Fifita is getting some early Heisman love from ESPN. Called him the best freshman QB in all of FBS. https://www.espn.com/college-football/s ... e-football

He is attempting to become the first quarterback with at least 100 attempts in Arizona history to complete more than 70% of his passes in a season

Thought Keith Smith did that, but looking him up only 68.5%.

After re-watching the game I just want to call out that Noah stood in the pocket and took some serious shots on some of our biggest plays. What a fucking stud. If he’s not a Heisman dark horse candidate in 2024 we riot.

Yeah, they list him at 5-11 195, but no way. And OU really brought the heat and maybe thought they could knock him out of the game. So, what have we got here? Smart, accurate, resourceful, resilient...and, oh yeah...tough.

Yeah, that he managed to have any game at all with the way our OL was getting their ass kicked is indicative of how great he is.

I'm thinking that Fifita has the chance to be one of the greatest wildcats of all time. I mean, look at the way he bought into Arizona early and convinced his boys to come also.

Then, after getting almost no playing time last year and staring at another season on the bench, he stayed loyal.

I knew for sure he was special at the Coliseum where he...just...kept....coming...at ...them.

Then, in the Alamo bowl, with an O Line that was getting trashed, he never lost his poise.

Now, you know he's getting some illegal offers, and he's staying. Wildcat through and through.

If he stays grounded, this kid is going to be remembered in Tucson and outside of it for a very long time.

According to Scheer, Noah turned down a $1 million NIL from theOSU - He'd have been a great fit there, and get awesome exposure.

But, UDub will be rebuilding next year - does he want to start over like that??

He'll have options - not quite as many as TMac - and that's a bummer for us!!

I thought it was TMac that turned down tOSU.

If it's all about the relationships, then that seems clear that he will be following Fisch.

Unless Noah is extremely angry with Fisch for abandoning the team.

So guess we will have to see, but in any event the UA probably needs to hold on to Carroll and Dougherty. Although it was always Fisch talking to the QBs after each series.

Reportedly, both Noah and TMac were in attendance at a team meeting this morning - the team chose to rally behind Nansen's candidacy!!

And, supposedly, Heeke cancelled on a meeting with the team.... Probably interviewing. He had two interviews yesterday (Justin Wilcox, Cal; and ???)

Sure sounds like it. If this is true you've got to hire him:

Stellar resume on both side of the ball. Helps too being Samoan in getting more Poly players.

Not sure why he hasn't been offered anywhere, maybe he just isn't a slick used car salesman like Jedd. Gotta win those meets and greets.

I think this is unlikely but I think this is the only way to keep the core together. This is so fd up. They will offer someone like Brent B but not convinced he is the right guy at all. I think because he came in second last time it was an easy answer.

We finally had some hope of having a decent team for a couple of years then this.

Noah could be the greatest football wildcat of all time.

After what he did to bring his boys here and if he helps to keep them here through all of this; then plays to his potential, this guy will truly be a legend for all time.

...and the "Servite Boys" will be a term remembered in Arizona lore forever if they all stay.

Noah and TMac are going to be a phenomenal wherever they end up playing. I hope they remain with us though. Sad that Prysock jumped into the portal...liked the guy. Does anyone think there is a chance that Jonah comes back to the team now that the HC stuff has been sorted out?

They basically said- they are in a bit of shock but are in a good place and the guys are basically sticking together right now.

Don't know what people are doing- but it didn't sound like they were going to make a quick emotional decision.

It didn't sound like they want to leave...

Noah doesn't appear to use the laces when he throws the ball. I would think being a smaller statured guy, he might not have Wilt Chaimberlain hands on him and the laces would help. I've never seen a QB do that - gotta pretty damn uncommon, but apparently it works for him.

Carry on.

Yeah I remember seeing an interview where he said he grew up without using the laces so he never had to worry about getting the orientation right before he could throw.
