At least people will be able to watch the UA on TV then instead of buried on the PAC-12 channel.

Probably true for every former PAC team that was picked up. WSU and OSU will probably still get day games if picked up by the Big West.

Will be there as well, a group of six of us. Two of which are formers coworkers of mine who are UCLA grads. They've never experienced a football game in Tucson and wanted to make use of their last shot given the Bruins bolting to the Big Ten next season.

Here it is. Big, physical, fast, and deep. They have some motivation after DTR had to slink off the Rose Bowl turf last season after our game in what was supposed to be "his year." Meanwhile, after all the losses, scares, and tough games we've given them through the years, I'm quite sure that neither USC or UCLA will touch us with a ten-foot pole after this year, so this is our last chance to make a lasting memory against an LA team. And also, while we still need another win for bowl eligibility, the only home game after UCLA is Utah, which seems fairly daunting. And no matter who they're against, road games are always tough. It would be much better to nail that situation down as soon as possible rather than let it develop a life of its own.

UCLA's defense is legit. Their offense....not so much. This one is getable.

UCLA blitz like 52% of the time and has limited good run teams. They do give up about 30 more yards rushing than at home. Lead most defense stats but the best offense they faced has been OSU.

Offense is just run focused by sheer numbers. OSU has a better yards per carry. UCLA is 10th in conference in sacks allowed and like 11th in passing percentage

It will be a low scoring game.

They turn the ball over more then OSU or Utah so we should or could get extra possessions

Got your back Eebs. I watched Kansas this weekend tear down their goal posts after they beat OU and then toss them in a lake.

We can put up yards (part of that is SOS) but we are extremely prone to turnovers. Mainly INT's but had some uncharacteristic fumbles too yesterday. And we suck at kicking FGs these days.

I was worried about the let down against Oregon St., and to Fisch and crew's credit, we were ready to play and stood toe to toe with a very good Beaver team. UCLA is very good too, but not better than Oregon State in my opinion. If we're ready to play again, have to like the way we're executing on both sides of the ball plus special teams.

ESPN posted a graph showing the damage UCLA's pass rush was able to do to Colorado's Shedeur Sanders last weekend. 22 pressures, 17 hits, 13 knock downs, and 6 sacks.

This is a big advantage for UCLA going into Saturday Vs UA. Though Arizona's OL run-blocked well Vs Oregon State, they did not protect Fifita very well. Limiting the Bruins pass rush will be key.

Run the ball down their throats like OSU did and throw in a bunch of 3 step throws to not let UCLA tee off on Noah.

Long sustained drives is how we win this game imo. Tire them down and put the hammer to them in the 4th quarter.

JFC, am I really talking about OUR team???

UCLA's bugaboo is turnovers. That arguably is what cost the games vs Oregon State and Utah. It's what kept the Colorado game from being a blowout by 40 on Saturday. The rush defense has been strong. I think they have only given up one rushing TD all year but they are weaker vs the pass and teams tend to attack that.

I remember the fake ref, just don't remember being such a beatdown. Haha Slick Rick!

Shortly after Stoops was fired, and Kish was the interim HC.

I think we're a better team with better coaching. If we play well, we win.

My reading seems to indicate that a big factor will be how well our O line competes with their D line and linebackers.

Weve got a great bunch of guys who are competing their asses off. Damn what a fun season.

Let's go Cats!

Prices are crazy high for this game. My seats on a game be game basis is $100 and nose bleeds are $38 after fee’s. Family zone is $50 after fee’s. Heeke has no one to blame but himself if it doesn’t sell out.

Would Fisch be crazy enough to start JDL due to their pass rush strength and his escapability?

I got mine on Seat Geek for $80 with fees. 40 yard line so to me not so bad.

Although I’m jaded because of Northeast pro sports tickets which are like a car payment.

ECC on his way to Tucson to see the JeddCats live. I’m pumped!

I agree that Fisch deserves better. He has remarkably done his job in getting us back to respectability. The public should be buying in BUT, you do realize how expensive it is for a family to go to this game don’t you. It will cost a family of four almost three hundred dollars to sit in the nose bleed section, but some drinks and dogs/ candies for the kids.

Frankly I think you are way off saying ticket prices are no excuse. Last week my OSU seat on game day was only 68+ fee’s ($3). This week it’s 96.

That family section (south end zone) should NEVER be priced at more then $20 a ticket and the upper decks ends should never be more then $15.

I know you support Heeke unconditionally but I am going to have a talk with him and tell him he was wrong on his pricing on this game

Last add, as an ambassador for UA athletics you blaming the fans at EVERY TURN does more harm then it helps. We have great fans proven by leading the conference in total attendance across all sports.

You should be spending your time working with the AD on reasonable pricing of game day tickets. We know they have very good prices on season tickets with many price points but they fail miserably on pricing for week of game sales
