They are going to start Rashada. Best defense against a young guy is pressure do I hope we come early with extra guys to rattle him

Absolutely. Take a look at ASUs results and the plays they ran against UCLA and check the score against #4 Washington.

I'm not worried about this Fisch led team not showing up. They've proven that won't happen since the 2nd half of UDub. They've earned that trust.

Dillingham can turn into John Madden if he wants. If we play OUR game with OUR talent we win.

I am so hoping we bring them to their knee’s. We have had some great victories but I don’t ever remember a game where we just dominated snd won like 42-7. Best I remember was 31-10 but it was 10-10 at half.

They have kicked our ass many times and I just want to see us really lay one on them. Make their fans leave really early and take their programs soul.

Really not asking for much

70-7 would be poetic.

No billboard needed.

That billboard is decades of motivation.

I want us to have hung 63 points and on the last possession score another TD… and then go for 2 to make it a nice round 71.

I like the way you think. That scenario is the equivalent of skullfucking an inanimate object by other inanimate objects.

Question guys…a friend of mine does production for ESPiN (I know…I still love him). He asked me where the 70-7 billboard was located. I told him on I-10 north of Casa Grande. Do any of you know the mile marker by chance, or exact area? And yes…they have some images. And yes…apparently Jedd has receipts.

It's a little north of Casa Grande between McCartney Road and 387 I think on the west side of I-10.

CatsbyAZ wrote: Mon Nov 20, 2023 8:25 am RB Cameron Skattebo and also WR Elijah Badger are ASU's weapons I'm worried about. Scattebo can carry a load and wear down a defense. Badger can quick strike if you blink.

Bourguet is an efficient QB who does a very good job managing a passing game when defenses focus on stopping the run. Though he's been hobbled by a lingering ankle injury, he's toughed it out.

We are the last team in the conference that can afford to overlook ASU's 3-8 season.
Stattebo rolled for 108 yards on the ground and got the home crowd going early by manning ASU's opening scoring drive. But the other two didn't even play. Bourguet must've been kept out at the last minute due to his ankle injury and I didn't see Badger anywhere on the field yesterday.

My worry was ASU might be able to hang around if they dragged the gameplay down like how they looked like a slow burn Iowa team beating UCLA the other week.

But early in the second quarter I realized after two separate plays that we'd be fine and ASU wouldn't be able to go back and forth with Arizona.

First, up 10-7 with 14:10, the long 57 yd pass & catch to McMillan to open what would be a 2 play scoring drive to go up 17-7.

Second, on ASU's ensuing possession, their offense was piecing together a 8 play drive until Rashada underthrew a pass for an INT near the 10:00 mark. Rashada's notorious underthrows were bound to catch up to him and without Bourguet's level headed passing, ASU didn't have a chance to go back and forth with Arizona the rest of the game.

I knew a route was on after that.

Badger was announced out prior to the game for a minor injury. During the game on TV they said Bourguet had a stomach virus.

When I read just before the game that Badger wasn't going to play and I read the reason it really made me go hmmmm. Basically what they described as a minor injury suffered the week before and no one really knew about the injury and nothing was said all week. Badger misses the biggest game of the year. The same with Bourguet being sick. I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist but the entire thing didn't sound right. I also thought Fisch would put in Delaura at the end of the game but he didn't. To me that says Delaura won't be back next year. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

I forgot about the cheap shot against Fifita on the TD throw to take the lead 10-7.

The Scummie was flagged for roughing the QB but I thought we smacked them around the field with big hits the rest of the game.

Bourget was ruled out with an illness. He was throwing up gameday morning. Badger was ruled out with a minor leg injury.

Well both ASU and UCLA need a QB. Have to think JDL didn’t play because he had used his 4 games up and they can appeal the WAZZU kneel/one play game for his extra year of eligibility

Since JDL already transferred once, he can't transfer again without sitting out a year unless he goes grad transfer.
